We just did inventory of over 1000 products battery held up and had smooth results going from paper to high gloss bags. Also size as reported in prior reviews was not a problem we experienced and we had all size skus it stayed connected was easy to use and held its battery life.

The scanner constantly disconnects from shopify and you have to press it several times to scan a barcode or QRC.

Love this scanner! We had the old square scanner and it broke and I was upset at first with having to buy a new one but this one is so much better! It used to be that you would scan something, and you'd have to hit the enter line on the screen between each scanned item but this one automatically let's you move on to scan the next item. Seems like such a small thing but it helps speed up the cashing-out process!

I have to re-sync this frequently with the Shopify app. It's kind of annoying when working with customers and going to check them out and have to resync the scanner.

Save your money- the base charger broke after 6 weeks of gentle use (just past return date.) My shop uses the yellow Sockets every day 9am-9pm. Thought I’d buy the blue Socket with base for my office desk. Worked for about 3 weeks until it stopped. The light flashes like it’s charging- but it’s not. And Socket customer support is Non-Existant. You leave a message and they Never call you back. Ever. The base is now a paperweight. Get the Socket with a simple plug. They work.

Price too hight for this type of product, the connection is not good, loose connection to often . we have 7 store and alway have the same issue

I got this and started having problems almost immediately. That's why when I did it took a while to figure out WHERE the problem was in the mess that is Bluetooth/wired products these days. I did the right thing and went to my POS company and internet company. In the meantime I'm trying to run a business during a pandemic. Thinking we were doing the right thing it took nearly 3 months for them to figure it out. Now PC N won't replace the defective product. They are dumping it on the manufacturer, Socket. They did nothing wrong though. The fault lies with PC Nation and SQUARE! I'm spposed to understand everyone elses problems, how about YOU (PCN) understand mine and show some compassion. Great scanner, but don't buy here.
