Better than expected
Here is my less than expert review of these clubsThe driver: good. I feel that the driver hits slightly further than most other drivers that I have used. The large sweetspot as advertised is true and when it was hit I feel that it slightly helped my slice reduce. The fairway wood: effective. I used it to tee off a few times and it hit well. After no more than 10 hits there is a rattling noise in the head of the wood but the club still feels fairly sturdy. I felt at first that there was too much flex but grew to really like the clubThe hybrid: a solid club, steel shaft, not graphite like the other drive heads. could mid range club. The Irons: I only used a handful of the irons, but to me irons are irons. I do wish that they sent lower than a 5 but i suppose that is what the hybrid is for.The putter: I can't really tell much of a difference between putter's, this one is fine. The bag: It would be nice if there were tee slots and other things but the stand works great.Definitely a good buy for the price, it was a father's day present for me. I like the clubs, I am not necessarily new to the game but still in beginner mode.Hope this is helpful!

You get more than what you pay for...
I purchased these clubs to replace some garage sale/thrift shop clubs I had purchased. I didn't know if I was going to enjoy golf and decided not to make a huge investment.I bought these under the assumption that I would play with them for one possibly two seasons. I have taken them to the driving range and thoroughly enjoyed the improvement that they made to my game. The club heads are solidly constructed, and the steel shafts are rigid with enough give to add 50 yards to my 5 iron. The Driver is has a large head and a flexible graphite shaft that really packs a wallop. I've gone from a 200 yard drive to nearly 250 with my best swing. The bag seems to be constructed well and is very light to carry. If you're looking for a decent set of clubs for a good value, these are it.They are not pro-quality, but certainly, if you golf as much as I do, may 10 times per season, these should last a while.

Switched to a speeway driver and am much much happier.
These worked as starter clubs, in actuality flex is practically senior....bought new clubs after using these for 6 months. The driver and hybrid woods are worthless, because the flex was so lite I couldnt hit them straight (not even remotely). Switched to a speeway driver and am much much happier.

Nice clubs for average or beginning golfer
I am no pro, nor am I a regular golfer, but I have been golfing for many years and chose this set to upgrade from a set of clubs that I have had for decades. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it. It was well packaged and came undamaged. The clubs are balanced well, have very nice grips, and play well. I think they have contributed to my game. The bag is good quality, has lots of compartments and storage space, and if very light even with the built-in stand. The stand works intuitively and is very stable. I am extremely please with this choice and would recommend them to the average golfer or beginner. I suppose that some "pro" golfers might find fault with them, but then I think that really good players can do well with most any equipment and this set is above just any equipment.

Don't wait to get started just buy this set
Before buying this set, I owned the similar Top Flite XL set for one round of golf. I am a beginning golfer who has been plaing 1-2 rounds per week over the last month.Bag - This bag seems to be a slightly better quality bag than what came with the Top Flite XL set. There is a nice soft lined pocket that I use for keys, wallet, and cell phone. The stand works just fine and levers open with an automatic pedal at the bottom of the bag. I only wish a rain cover came with the set.Putter - Works just fine. I however wish it was more of a mallet style putter but that is a personal preference. The paint job on the putter head is rather cheap looking.Irons and PW - I find the irons and wedge easy to hit and appear to be well made. The finish of these clubs is the best in the bag and is better than those included in the Top Flite XL set.Drivers and hybrids - It is easy to make contact with these drivers. The yellow alignment arrows on the tops of these clubs are easy to see. My biggest complaint with the entire set is the finish on these clubs. The paint is great but whoever did the masking job must have done it in their garage. The edges of the paint are uneven and a bit erratic. Out of fairness, I had this same gripe with the Top Flite XL set so it seems it may be an issue for clubs in this price range.Overall, I like this set quite a bit and would have given it 5 stars had it not been for the finish issues on the putter, drivers, and hybrid.

Good fun with decent clubs
First things first, I'm far from a great golfer and I wouldn't be the one to teach you anything about golf other than how to go out, have fun with good friends and try not to take 6 hours to play a round. With that said, I wanted a set of clubs that would work for the amount I play (infrequently). These are fantastic beginner or "I rarely play but it's fun" clubs. It felt good when I hit a good shot off the tee or approaching the green. I absolutely loved the hybrid club when I was on a par 5 or other longer holes on the fairway. Also, in one round, I got the feel of the irons where I could shoot from 100 yards or less and put spin on the ball instead of watching it zip across the green! That made me feel like I knew what I was doing (I don't... I know my place in the golf life!).Anyway, if you're starting out or want to get a decent set of clubs for a great price just to have fun, I highly recommend these.

Affordable Wilson sets continues to impress me.
Haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I'm impressed by the feel of the clubs. Everything is super light, the shoulder strap seems very sturdy and the putter has a nice weighted feel (it feels like the heaviest club). If they fall apart on the course I'll come back to change the review. My first set of clubs was an off the shelf cheap Wilson set and it is still hold up great except for the shoulder strap after 14 years. I expect a good run out of this set also. They are taller than my old set but I'm hoping that will add some distance after I get the feel for them.
