Windproof Travel Umbrella

I've bought 2 of these as I stupidly left one on the bus. That'd be the only reason to buy a replacement as this high quality umbrella comes with a lifetime guarantee! Living in Scotland and using public transport means I need a reliable, sturdy and hard-wearing umbrella. I used to buy Fulton but am absolutely converted to Repel. I've been spreading the good word to friends, family and colleagues, I can't recommend this item highly enough. It's compact and not too heavy but robust enough to fend off blustery wind and pouring rain. Being able to press the button to pop open and closed makes it very easy to use. The material is thick and of course completely waterproof. Customer service is prompt, polite and extremely helpful.

I am really impressed with this umbrella! It is exceptionally strong and holds up incredibly well against high winds without turning inside out. Despite how durable and solid it feels, it is remarkably compact and portable, making it super easy to carry around in a bag every day. Highly recommended!

I haven’t used the brolly yet, but I’ve taken one star away as it’s pretty heavy (for me) for a brolly. I can’t imagine wanting to walk around holding it for a long period of time. Also it opens and closes with a great big whoosh. I thought it would be a smoother mechanism - you know, like kitchen draws are nowadays. It’s a lovely colour and I think it’s heavier probably because of the open/ close mechanism in the handle, which is fair, but not particularly ergonomic for my little hands.. It seems sturdy enough from testing it in the back garden. It’s a good size and will fit in backpacks easily. Overall I’m ok with the product, I’m sure it will do the job and have no worries about that. If I was in a shop and I picked it up and felt the weight I probably would have left it in the store - just my personal preference. I will happily keep it but I’m not in love.

As far as collapsable umbrellas go, I have traditionally bought cheap light-weight ones from supermarkets. After precious little use they usually disintegrated. They didn’t matter much because I live in Essex, one of the driest counties in the country. But as climate change takes hold and it rains so much of the time, even in Essex, it was time for a change of plan. The Repel umbrella is just what I needed. It’s robust and doesn’t blow inside out. The fabric stays fitted to the ends of the metal rods and doesn’t get detached at the first puff of wind. It’s heavier and bigger than the cheap collapsables but it’s worth it because of the durability. Erecting it is easy and can be done with only one hand. There is a button you press at the end of the handle, and hey presto! The wingspan is a handy 96 centimetres. I liked the pattern on the inside: blue sky and a few white clouds. It would have been nice if that was replicated on the outer upper surface which is plain black. Collapsing the umbrella needs both hands. You press the other button and the business end folds up at once but you then have to press down on the end of the umbrella to bring the fabric back down to the base of the handle. All in all, a thoroughly decent and impressive piece of equipment. It’s well worth the extra money. Dr Paul R. Sealey

Great umbrella was really windy and raining in Scotland as it usually is and this umbrella didn’t turn inside out at all would definitely recommend I’ve had other umbrellas that claim do with stand wind and they have broke but this seems really sturdy and comes with a cover to store in. I got the clear one and the button is easy to use for putting it up and down folds without having to pull down like other umbrellas . Fits in my handbag overall looks good and think it will last quite a long time.

This umbrella seems sturdy, is quite large, with a short handle and performed well in the first test on a wet and windy day! It certainly didn’t blow inside and barely moved, despite my battle holding onto the handle in the wind! I’m impressed and really hope it continues to give me years of good service!

Does have a bit of weight to it but makes it feel sturdy and strong! Good size open as well closed so will be very useful for when daughter starts secondary school to fit in her school bag easy, handle is a good size so comfortable to hold, the button is powerful but smooth and the design inside is so pretty! Doesn't do it justice, very solid and high quality umbrella and comes with a useful cover

I haven't had to use it yet but it is a pleasing umbrella to look at and to hold. The handle is firm, smooth and well made and the automatic opening mechanism is swift and satisfactory. The calm slate-blue colour is lovely. It fits easily into my medium sized satchel bag and would also be a good fine for a medium back-pack or a briefcase; but the umbrella is too large for a regular-size shoulder bag. It is also a little heavier than I expected; probably because I have bought cheaper umbrellas before, which broke quickly. So, if this one lasts longer, as I expect it will from its robust design, and keeps out the rain, I am pleased with this purchase.

I received a flimsy, pink striped, low quality umbrella that doesn't match the price or description at all.Requested a return.

自動開閉でかわいいデザインの折り畳みがなかなかありません。今はこちらを使ってます。電車内で長い傘だと満員電車になった際、自分も不快だし周りにも迷惑をかけるので折り畳み傘を使っています。重いし、コンパクトではないですが自動開閉なので納得して使ってます。付属のケースは多分傘作成時に余った端切れで作ったのかな？単色の傘と同じ生地の簡易的な袋がついてきました。なので、中にマイクロファイバー付きのケースを買って使用しています。

Şemsiyeyi alalı 3 ay oldu ve şunu söylemeliyim ki şemsiye tam anlamıyla fiyat/performans ürünü. Ayrıca tekli alımda (440 TL civarı) pahalıya gelmesine rağmen ikili alım yaparsanız (600 TL civarı) kargo bedavaya geldiği için uyguna almış olursunuz.Şemsiyeye gelecek olursak 9 adet tel kullanmışlar ve gayet güçlendirilmiş bir iskelete sahip. Kolay kolay ters dönmüyor ve şimdiye kadar da dönmedi. Üzerinde bulunan havalandırma boşluğu sayesinde rüzgarda ters dönmesinin önüne geçmeye çalışmışlar ancak henüz deneyimleme imkanım olmadı. Otomatik kapanıp açılması gayet randımanlı çalışıyor. Bazıları yayın sertliğininden dolayı şemsiyeyi kapatırken zorlanmış ama bence ideal bir sertliği var. Ne çok sert ne de çok yumuşak. Büyüklüğü tek kişi için ideal ama iki kişiyi kesinlikle yağmurdan koruyamaz. Kumaşına teflon kaplama yapmışlar ve çok iyi olmuş. Bu sayede kumaşı yağmuru çekmiyor ve ufak bir silkelemede üzerindeki suyun büyük çoğunluğu dökülüyor. Ancak şuna dikkat etmeniz gerekiyor: Şemsiyeyle işiniz bittikten sonra içininin ve dışının iyice kuruduğundan emin olmadan şemsiyeyi katlayıp kılıfına koymayın. Çünkü her ne kadar teflon kaplama olsa bile bazı küçük su damlaları hala daha şemsiyenin üzerinde kalabiliyor ve bazen aç-kapa yaparken iç kısmına su sıçramış olabiliyor. Eğer iyice kurutmadan katlayıp kılıfa koyarsanız zamanla kumaş üzerinde pas lekesiyle karşılaşabilirsiniz. En önemli avantajı ise ömür boyu garantili olması. TR için bu hizmet mevcut mu bilmiyorum ama yazıldığına göre mevcut diye düşünüyorum. Son olarak şemsiyenin sevmediğim bir özelliğini belirterek yorumumu bitireyim. Tutma sapının gevşek olmasından ötürü bir boşluk mevcut ve şemsiyeyi tutarken hafif sağa sola dönmesine neden oluyor. İleride bir sorun çıkarır mı bilmiyorum ama biraz rahatsız ediyor beni.

【プラス点】ワンタッチで開閉できるのがとても便利です。サイズも大きくてそこそこ剛性もあります。何より風を逃がせる構造がすばらしくて、強風の中使ってもひっくり返ったことがないです。【マイナス点】しっかりしてるので他の折りたたみ傘に比べると少し重く感じます。そして折りたたみ時太いです。ボタンで開閉出来ますが柄の部分は自分で押し込まなければならず、それがなかなか硬い。女性の力だと少しキツイかもしれません。（私の妻は押し込めませんでした）【総評】私的には過去使用してきた折りたたみ傘の中では最高の使用感です。デザインの種類が多少あればもっと良かったかも。
