My wife have acquired for Catonese Steamed fish. The recipe requires juilienned shallots. For me tbis was always the most difficult part of the prep work. Little did I know the Japanese had developed a tool specifically for this purpose. Does the job in seconds where it use to take me a lot longer to do this job with a knife. Now I can use julienned shallots for garnish of soups, fish etc. Great find for the kitchen

This cutter is great as describe. Blade Sharpe! This one has more blades in compare with other cutters 'brands which is why I brought it. Good quality and well made. recommend it

Great but no english instructions/tips etc. My only reason for deleting one star. Sharp slices and cleans blade well. Appears to be well made. Works quite well.

Guard is nice, still feels cheap. Works ok but not consistent.

Great for making sliced scallion salad (pa muchim). Be careful. The blades are incredibly sharp. I like the protective cover and the plastic bit that slides to clean off the blades. More expensive than other options, but I find the quality worth the extra price.

The scissors are well made, strong, and sharp. I like the cover it has which also works as a guide when cutting. It also shields from mishaps when reaching into the drawer to retrieve them. I have used them several times and a briefly wash and dry immediately afterwards. The scissors have not jammed or gotten stuck so they are a great buy and addition to your kitchen gadgets!!

This garlic clove slicer is well made, heavy duty; not flimsy, and makes quick, and easy work out of a task which is usually tedious. Another plus to this garlic slicer is the ginger grater which is located on the back, or bottom. A quality product!

this slicer works so well. there's a blade edge on both the forward and back edge, so it slices twice as fast. it never gets clogged up. so why only 4 stars? the depth of the cut is too thick, and it's obviously not adjustable. I was hoping for thinner garlic slices. but this does exactly what it promises.
