Great investment!
Great crochet set! I am fairly new to crochet. This set was perfect. The handle is most comfortable to work with. The light truly assist in seeing stitches. I give it a 10 out of 10.

Works as Described
Being new to crochet, I will admit to having a bit of an addiction. I found myself very frustrated when I realized that crocheting in the dark could not be a thing unless there was at least a *little* bit of light. I was suggested to get an LED hook. And thus my search began. I chose this set because the handle came in a color that I would b satisfied with. (I know, not the best reason, but there you go! LOL) I tested it out yesterday using it both with and without the LED light turned on. Overall, very well done. Had a bit of trouble figuring out how to change hooks out, but I eventually figured it out. It would be a good idea for future upgrades to contain instructions for anyone who isn't great with figuring things out on their own. The hold is really good. I have carpal tunnel, and arthritis, as well as cerebral palsy which sometimes, wreaks havoc with my grip. The handle on this is a perfect solution for this! It wide, and I don't feel like I could drop it at any second. Now my biggest worry was the fact that hooks were plastic. I have been using all stainless steel or metal hooks from the beginning, and I was concerned that the plastic would make the yarn more slippery, and given the issues I mentioned above, I was didn't know if I'd be able to maneuver it well. Pleasantly surprised to report that this was *not* the case. The yarn worked very well with these hooks. (I didn't try all of them, but the 5mm worked very well!) If there are any drawbacks, it's the squeakiness. But I think if anyone can hear the squeaking over a loud movie theater movie, they have Vulcan hearing. Great set for the price, and I'm very pleased! Thank you!

Mostly useful. Only one minor flaw…
This helps big time with darker yarns to be able to see the stitches, light is bright and has one other dimmer setting. However my problem that I had, which is a minor unless you are someone with severe sensory issues, was that the hooks have a hard seam on them that catches on yarn and even slices the fibers of the yarn when rubbed against it too much, so what I had to do was lightly buff it off with a nail buffer so as not to alter the shapes of the hooks. Other than that it’s a good product for the price.

Look no further.... this is the best hook I've ever used.
This hook is amazing! I ordered the light wood handle and it's fantastic. Super comfortable for crocheting for long periods. My hands used to hurt after a couple of hours but this handle is so light weight. The light settings are amazing; the high is almost too bright for some colors. I generally use the low setting. The heads change out with ease. The only thing I see here is that there isn't a spot for the smallest hook when not in use since it comes already attached to the handle, but I just place the hook head in the handle section when I'm using a different size and reattach it when I'm done so I don't lose it. Bonus: It was already fully charged when I received it. I've used it for about 6 hours now (2 hours on high and about 4 on low) and have not had to charge it yet. I highly recommend this set!

no slip, graduated shaft, light not helpful
I wanted to like these. But. Yarn does not glide over the hook material. Another reviewer said "it squeaks" and that is true. This makes hooking slow and difficult. Any gain in the ergonomic grip is lost in the tension and force needed to pull yarn on and off the hook. There really is nothing like an aluminum hook I guess. The hooks are graduated. That is, there is no part of the shaft that is all the same diameter.. the diameter starts at the top near the hook and gets larger and larger down towards where the hook attaches to the handle. That means you can't push a stitch up on the hook without stretching it bigger than the size of the stitch it is supposed to be. I may not be explaining that part very well. Suffice it to say that the shape of the hook and the non-slipperyness of the material do not work fpr the way I like to crochet. I like to be able to push the stitch farther onto the shaft of the hook than this allows. Last is the light. I was intrigued by the idea. Right now I am working with dark cotton thread on a 3.5mm hook.. I could use more light to see the work. The hooks light up, that is for sure.. but the light does not illuminate the work. The hook gets bright and makes it hard to see the work.. it's like if you are driving at night and the car coming toward you has the high beams on. All you can see is the other car's headlights-- you can't really see the road around it. I already know where the hook is.. but I need to see the work to know where to put the hook. So I guess the best way to light up the work is with a bright crafters light with or without magnification. Sorry for the poor review. I wanted to like this but I just don't.

Cute and flawed
I received this set yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. The handle is lightweight and soft but not exactly ergonomically correct. The light is everything I wanted. This makes it super easy to see in dimmer rooms or find the stitches of those dark yarns. The biggest downside is the interchangeable hooks. They are easily changeable but they have that "plastic seam" on the top and along the back. The yarn doesn't glide over the seam easily. On a personal note, this is a little too lightweight for me. I like a heavier hook that I can feel in my hand. With all that said, the hooks are ok with a great concept. I'm still debating on whether these are worth keeping. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect hook.

Awesome Hook
This little hook is awesome! It’s perfect for low light settings and the options for interchangeable hooks in one place is great. It does not snag the yarn and stays charged for quite a while.

Oh my gosh!
I absolutely love this set of hooks! It's a good variety of sizes. The handle part is comfortable to hold, though I will say it felt strange at first but within an hour I was cruising along with no problem. The light feature is INCREDIBLE! It's not so bright to blind you but just enough to see the stitches. I always have problems working with black yarn & this light changes the game. I was worried about the time it would stay charged. I charged it for 2 hours. As of right now I have used it probably 8-10 hrs in last 3 days & it's still holding a charge. If you are a crocheter get this! If you know a crocheter this is a perfect gift! Switching out the different size hooks is super easy. Just a tiny turn with the little wrench tool and it's off or on.
