REMO 10" LOLLIPOP DRUM® Mallet

I bought a genuine drum and the fancy mallet came apart very quickly. Therefore I bought this different and simpler mallet as a replacement: it is kid appropriate per its function, size, design, and I don’t see it breaking anytime soon. Nice cheap solution.

I ordered two of these to use in home drumming exercises to increase support for our son's neurological music therapy. I wanted more than one so that we could also work on imitation on some targeted goals for some of his other therapy goals as well using these, and even though one of the drums I ordered already came with one, I figured sometimes his sister would want to help out so a total of three would be best. These and the drums we ordered just came today, and normally for something like this, I'd want to see how they held up with a bit of use before I posted a review. Which is what I'm going to do with the drums. But I noticed the top rated reviews are about appearance related issues, so I've attached a picture of what ours look like. As you can see, they look exactly like what was imaged on Amazon. For me, when I ordered these, I didn't care what color they came in, the functionality was the big thing. I think that probably that may have been a vendor specific problem? Or a problem resolved? I can not say for sure. What I can say is they produce good sound tone on all of the drums that arrived today (I ordered 3). The shaft is made out of plastic, and the ball some form of foam. So this is an item that I will definitely want to keep out of reach of my son when not in use, because he's a chewer. If any other issues arise, I will be sure to update it, but as of this moment they look as they should, they sound as they should, and I felt like the price point was reasonable. And he was even willing to touch them and I just pulled them out of the box, and that's progress to be excited about in and of itself. It's a beautiful day, y'all.

Nice safe mallet, perfect for my Hand Pan, but overpriced.

I have been looking for a toddler safe mallet for a tongue drum. The ball is too large to be a choking hazard and the sound is lovely

Great quality for little children. It appears to be very durable and of course it's adorable, my kids love it. You just have to make sure they aren't into chewing things because the top could be a temptation.

It works ok. It's cute. It's more of a kids mallet so if you are looking for a mallet for adults, I might research a little further.

Great replacement for the sticks/hammers that came with several of our musical toys. Quieter than wood drumsticks (thank goodness!). My son loves carrying this around!

Mallets are great for kids; no hard metal points, head is soft enough to not injury kids if they hit each other and makes nice sound on tongue drums.

Great set .... three year olds have been using these... and not gently I might add . They have held up very well. Would not hesitate to purchase again or recommend to others.

These are great paired with different remo child drums the sound nice and are lots of fun.
