As a postpartum mother I had difficultly while sitting due to pain I suffered as a result of constant usage of pads. Using refrigerated earth mama bottom balm helped me to soothe the burning sensation. I also had painful haemorroids, this balm was really soothing and within few days I got rid of haemorroids. I would say it is a definite essential item for a postpartum mother. I was hesitant to buy it due to price but after using it I would say it's worth every penny. We can also use it for treating pad rashes.

OMG. I cant recommend this higher enough. I ordered this cream before knowing I will need elective c-section so thought I wont need it, however I applied it onto my wound from about they 6 after c-section. It was amazing. Its so cooling and my wound felt 'on fire' for first 3 weeks post op. It took the edge away, cooled the hot burning feeling of the wound.

I’m currently 5 weeks postpartum, had second degree tear, and started having what I thought was an infection right next to my vaginal stitches. Red, swollen, bumpy and with white dots. I went to the ER, but the doctor said it’s not an infection, more like broken skin vessels and blood clot / lump (white dots that I thought were pus, very sensitive and painful to the touch), which was possible because I was constipated and strained during bowl movement (started taking Restrolax and it helped so much!). I couldn’t sit or move without it being painful. The top of the stitches was very itchy at times too. So you can imagine how frustrated and desperate I was. I came across this product and it did wonders for my wound. It calmed down the swell and decreased the pain / itch. I can sit and move around much better after two days of using it, along with doing sitz bath three times a day (just warm water, 20 min each session. Add hot water to the bath when it starts to cool down). If you are on the fence of trying this product, I’d say go ahead. I have very sensitive skin and it didn’t bother me at all, the cooling effect of peppermint was a major plus. I apply it directly on and near my stitches with a clean finger.
