Premium Sketchbook (Large journal)

I dont know what the bad reviews are talking about i love this book! It's bigger than i thought which is nice cause now i have more canvas room! The pages aren't thin and the hardcover is good quality! Recommend for graffiti since its not flimsy

Super good for sketching I’m on my second one!

The paper inside is comparable to my Strathmore 300 series pad. I’ve cheaped out on sketchbooks before, and have been disappointed by how rough/grainy/brittle the paper can be, but the paper in this sketchbook can withstand multiple sketch redo’s and multiple light watercolor washes. It MIGHT be able to handle alcohol markers; in my experience, a Sharpie bleeds through to the back of a page. I don’t usually work with alcohol markers, but this paper behaves similarly to the paper my friends who use Copics use. Great quality binding, great quality paper for the price. I’ve yet to be disappointed by a journal or sketchbook made by the Peter Pauper Press.

Sketching on this paper is glorious, it has just the right amount of tooth. But then the problem is that graphite smudges VERY easily. So you will want a paper to cushion your hand when drawing, because if there’s a drawing under your skin, it’ll get spotty real bad.

I usually don't like to spend too much on sketchbooks as I consider them consumables. Sketchbook is rigid and Clean looking, Sticker came off with minimal effort. Paper is acceptable quality, thick and doesn't bleed any markers or ink I've tried, the cover is hard enough to use without a backing board. I'll likely make this my go to for future sketchbooks as well.

I’ve purchased this notebook several times and am always so happy with it. They sell an identical one at the craft store for significantly more so it’s nice to get it at this price.

L'album migliore che abbia mai comprato. Le pagine sono semiruvide, perfette per il disegno a grafite, ottime per la colorazione a matita. Resistono persino a un'acquarello leggero, non troppo bagnato, a patto di schiacciare il foglio tra un'asciugatura e l'altra. Non ho testato i promarker, ma i pennarellini tipo rapid (o tratto) non passano sotto al foglio. Ottima anche la resa con la penna a sfera. Il fatto che le pagine siano pretagliate è un valore aggiunto non da poco, non si rischia mai di fare un danno staccando un foglio. L'ho comprato due volte e sono certa che lo comprerò ancora.

C'est une véritable honte, j'ai reçu le livre certes emballé dans un papier plastique, mais déchiré au coin ! C'est honteux, c'est dechiré comme si on l'avait fait tombé sur le coin et qu'on me l'avait quand même envoyé ! C'etait pour un cadeau, et evidemment je ne peux pas offrir ça. Je suis déçue

Ich habe gefühlte 10.000 Skizzenbücher, die ich alle für verschiedene Zwecke nutze. Es gibt welche, die sind okay und es gibt solche, die das Arbeiten beflügeln. Dieses gehört zur letzteren Sorte. Clean weiß (ungemein wichtig für mich, da ich die Arbeiten einscanne und keinen Gelbstich brauche), angenehm rau (nicht zu viel, aber so, dass es eine schöne Textur gibt). Perforierte Seiten sind ein total toller Bonus! Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Ótimo sketchbook!!! As folhas são grossinhas e destacáveis, o tamanho é grandinho-médio, capa dura e papel poroso, quando desmancha não fica a mancha da borracha e nem do lápis, usei aquarela e não danificou a parte de trás, usei canetinha ficou uma sombra mas nada que atrapalhasse, fiz colagens, recortes e ele aguentou firmemente. O encadernamento é impecável e até o adesivo da capa é um charme. Não serve em qualquer bolsa, mas para quem gosta de cadernos de desenho com folhas grandes e firmes é perfeito. Estou apaixonada e encantada, indico para qualquer artista e comprarei de novo.
