Plugs into the CTEK charger. Im using this on my C8 Z06 plug into the front trunk (frunk) connector. Plug it in and close the frunk to first click. First click turns off the frunk light. Works great. Good seller arrives quickly.

Straight out of the box, setup was easy going from battery clamps to lighter plugin,I was charging a trickling with 15 minutes. Had to read instructions to read the meter, but it all made sense. Talked to Porsche dealer who said the sold the same manufacturer with Porsche name and 3 times the price. Do your car the favor and get one!

Decided to use the passenger footwell utility plug to maintain my Boxster over winter. Going through the appropriate steps with the CTEK MXS 5 allows me to easily maintain the battery and keep the car cover on without pinching wires. Yes, there are other methods under the frunk but this is so easy that I decided to go this route. Quality part and mates perfectly with the charger.

If you plan to use a CTEK battery tender and do it easy for connect/disconnect, the preferred option is to use a cigarette lighter receptacle inside the cabin; but instead, the included connection option with any CTEK tender is to supply only a connector to be used directly to the battery, which is located under the hood (or for some models inside the trunk). That's mean every time the hood/trunk need to be open (and let "semi-open" to avoing kink the cable) wich is impractical (at least in my case) as the hood of my car is very tight and if keep open, a indication in the dashoboard keep on. So this cigarette plug adapter is a must for "practicality" if you want to connect easy your CTEK to keep in top condition the battery of your sport car. The only thing is, as I said in the title, this plug adapter should be included with the CTEK Battery Charger, and not as an additional accesory. All in all recommended to spend a few bucks more with this and make life easy.

Tja, da steht man nun vor dem Problem. Die neue Saison beginnt und die Batterie ist leer. Was war passiert? Bei meiner alten Maschine war das nie ein Problem. Aber nun habe ich ein neues Motorrad und da passiert es wohl, dass nach längerer Pause (Winter) die Batterie leer ist. Das ging bei mir bis zum Totalausfall, d.h. eine tiefenentladene Batterie ist nicht mehr zu retten. Eine neue originale Batterie kostet dann schon mal 130€. Wow ... Selbst wenn man sich nun die Mühe machen möchte, die Batterie im Winter auszubauen und warm (Keller) zu lagern, muss man die Batterie dennoch regelmäßig laden. Also muss da eine Lösung her, womit man die Batterie laden kann, ohne diese ständig ausbauen zu müssen. Da ich mir vor einigen Monaten eine 12V Boardsteckdose einbauen lies, schien mir dies eine gangbare Lösung zu sein. >>> Vor dem Aufladen natürlich die Zündung ausschalten, damit die Elektronik keinen Schaden nimmt! <<< Ohne wieder an der Batterie rumfummeln zu müssen, kann ich nun mit diesem Kabel die Batterie ganz bequem laden. Mir scheint alles sehr hochwertig verarbeitet zu sein. Der Stecker steckt sauber und fest in der Dose. Das andere Ende läßt sich prima an das Ladegerät anschließen. Es hat auch einen Widerhaken, sodass sich die Verbindung nicht von alleine trennen kann. Der Stecker passt auch nur in eine Richtung in das Ende vom Ladegerät, also man kann nichts falsch polen. Ich wollte mir erst selbst soein Adapter basteln, aber bin froh, dass ich es nicht getan habe. Ich kann dieses Produkt uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Excelente accesorio para facilitar carga de batería. No es necesario abrir el cofre y quitar la tapa de la batería.
