Review: It's fast! - Blisteringly fast when transferring via USB3 and even seems faster than my previous card reader when using USB2 (but I'm not sure that isn't just psychological) :-) The reader has a sturdy build quality so I don't worry about stuffing it in my camera bag to take on a shoot when needed. My CFast 2 card takes a while to appear when inserted but that may always be the case with this type of card (I don't have anything to compare against as it's my first and so far only CFast 2 card!). The magnetic base is nice touch as I can attach the reader to side of my PC tower.

You should be aware that it is magnetic - didn’t realise this when I bought it until it grabbed my headphones! It even has a metallic sticker so you can stick it to your laptop for convenience. I am nervous about sticking it to my new MacBook Pro even though I’ve read that it’s ok to do so. Fortunately the usb c to usb c cable included is long enough to keep it away from the MacBook!
