Ingredient list unclear
I want to love this book. It is beautiful and all the recipes look tempting and delicious. However, the recipes that include meat (chicken, lamb, etc) do not specify if it is bone-in or boneless. This changes cooking time, so it is an important point. I looked in other sections of the book to see if she mentions it....nowhere! I actually wrote to her using the email on her website and never heard back. Disappointing.

I purchased this in one of the daily deals and have used it frequently ever since so it has been great value. I don't have much time (or desire) to cook after a hard day's work but these are simple recipes which take 5 or 10 minutes to prepare and can be left in your oven while you do other things. It has 8 sections: fish, chicken, veggie, quick & slow roasts, rice & pasta, grains, fruit and cakes - each section has a few recipes (between 6 & 14), each with illustrations, and also an extremely useful table showing which ingredients (meat/protein, vegetables, dressings, flavourings, herbs etc) can be cooked together so you can tweak the recipes to your own taste or create your own. Personal favourites include roast chicken, squash, red onion with lemon & rosemary, coq au vin, 5-spice duck with wild rice, kale & ginger (I never thought of cooking rice on a tray in the oven but it works well) and smoky sausage, sweet potato & red onion traybake but there are many others. It's simple, unfussy but very tasty food, that can be prepared quickly and cooked mostly using one dish so it's ideal after a busy day or for batch cooking at weekend and also for people with limited cooking skills or equipment.

I've cooked SO MANY recipes from this book and they are almost all amazing. So quick and easy to prep and only one dish to wash up. It's also helping me eat more vegetables. If you have an oven and don't enjoy cooking, this is an essential cookbook which will make you love cooking.
