Works well... I used it for the .17 WSM Caliber variant of the Savage A17 semi-automatic rimfire rifle... you're REALLY gonna need the stock to have a much higher cheek weld with this picatinny rail even more than you absolutely 100% already needed one before you added the rail. Why can't floks make it a monte carlo style buttstock with a nice cheek rise for a weld... *Please be sure to use flat 90° end side for facing to the rear of Savage A17 wsm... "overhang" side of this rail needs to always be installed so that it is on the end which is facing the barrel side of your weapon.

I was worried it may not fit the regular .22lr but it does. Seems like a solid rail. Easy to install and fits perfect
