Watch repair kit.
This is an excellent watch repair kit. I’ve used it to change batteries, straps, links in straps and pins.

Best value watch repair kit!
I absolutely love this kit!! It comes with almost everything you need to repair a watch, replace a battery, or remove/add links to your watch. It’s easy to use and comes in a perfect size carry case, which is great if you’re traveling or just for organization.

Worked for me
This does fine for a diy at home user considering it is not a "professional" kit. The key word here is "patience." I used the case opener wrench and the case holder to replace batteries. There are several shapes of teeth to use on the wrench ... round, square and triangular. The wrench adjusts easily in hand by turning the adjuster wheel to tighten the grip on the notches in the case. The watchband pin remover worked fine. It has a height adjustable wheel that helps to get the band level with the push out pin. Be sure you push in the correct direction. My band has arrows on the back showing the removal direction. My band pins have a slight split on one end which may appear like a flat tip screw head. You'd want to push the pin out from the other side so that the split end comes out first. The split end would then be put back in first. These are two handed operations. A lighted magnifying glass on a stand would help a lot, especially for old eyes and challenged fingers. The instruction manual has pictures but very little written information. I didn't use the case remover pry tool, nor any of the replacement spring pins (there are no extra band pins.) The kit has 3 sizes of small flat tip screwdrivers, but there are no phillips head screwdrivers.

Everything you will need to repair your watch or change the battery. Just what we needed.
My husband and I are traditionalist, in that we LOVE watches (i.e., timepieces). We aren’t into smartwatches. Our watches run from inexpensive to expensive. From causal to dressy. We both have so many that when one battery stops working, we simply select a different one to wear. The problem, you eventually get a ton of watches with batteries that don’t work. And then you have to take them to the repair shop and get new ones. This can be costly at $10 to $15 a pop. Imagine taking five or ten watches to the jeweler at a time. So, we started thinking, why don’t we replace our batteries ourselves? So, for a small investment (under $18), we purchased this cool repair kit by Vastar. It has everything that you will need to repair your watch (if you are skilled enough to do so) or replace a battery. All we had to do was go to our local battery replacement store and purchase the appropriate battery. It was less than a third the cost. We saved money big time. There are multiple tools in the set. For us the most helpful are: (1) the ones that remove the back of the watches, either by screwing or popping it off, and (2) the tools use to remove the band(s) – leather, rubber or metal. I have a watch that I have had since college that I have changed the band several times. It is nice to have that option. There are extra pins (which come in handy when removing bands), adapters and other tools that make this quite the find. I know some people think watches are primitive and they like the ease of having a digital or smartwatch, but it is nothing like a great timepiece to elevate your outfit. And finally, there is a convenient, zippered carrying case to keep everything together and secured. The only thing this kit didn’t have was a magnifying glass, which wasn’t really an issue because we had one. But that would have been a nice addition. Otherwise, this is the perfect repair kit.

The right tools for the job...
My watch repair guy retired and I didn’t want to pay $30 to have a battery replaced on a $30-$300 watch everytime, so I decided to watch some YouTube videos and figure out how to do my own watch maintenance. From removing links, to changing batteries, to replacing springbars, and switching out bands, this kit has everything you’ll need to get it done. The knife to pry off case backs or the case back wrench for the ones that screw in. It has extra springbars and more. The tools are fairly intuitive but if you watch a few how-to videos and do some internet research, you will have everything you need to do repairs and more. I buy batteries like 10 at a time now and if you wear watches with links the punch dial tool is awesome. The watch clamp has a screws to adjust and a spring to help apply pressure to hold it. Simple and effective. It also has cutouts for my chronograph watches. Nice. I really like the tweezers in this kit. They’re tiny but grip well and get into where you need them to. Score. I bought a simpler cheaper kit but it wouldn’t remove the case back in one of my watches and just overall wasn’t as good as this kit. Other kits may get by or you might figure out how to manage with them, but this kit has the right tool for the job each time. The little 2 sided hammer is great so you don’t damage watches. One of the pins bent on the pin punch dial but I think that was user error as I didn’t align the band correctly and dialed the punch into the pin anyways. I bent it back easily enough and it’s fine so far. I would recommend this kit and I will probably end up changing a lot my family’s watch batteries from here on out. That’s okay by me, now that I have the tools. Thumbs up for sure.

No one changes a watch battery in our area anymore, and this set of tools was the answer.
Our daughter bought two beautiful vintage watches online that were supposed to be in great condition with new batteries. She was so excited. Both watches arrived DOA with dead batteries. I felt really bad for her. The place that used to change watch batteries went out of business and there were no other stores that did that. This tool kit has everything. I love tools but I was unfamiliar with these and the instructions that were included were inadequate. I watched a few videos and they were helpful. I never realized how difficult taking the back off of a watch can be but I finally succeeded and ordered the batteries and today I am wearing my new watch and waiting for batteries for the other watches. Hint-these are tiny parts and batteries with tiny numbers. I used my cell phone to zoom in and read the battery specs, write it down and take a photo before taking out the battery.

Gets the job done for a great price and neatly organized.
This watch repair kit was just what I needed to remove links in the wristband of my new Invicta wristwatch, and I really like the neatly organized carrying case that is included. I used the included hammer with one of the punches to remove the necessary pins to take out two links and then reinsert one of the pins to put the band back together. Hammering took a little patience, but it eventually dislodged the pin without any damage to the band. The kit also comes with lots of replacement pins in various sizes and types. That came in handy for replacing one of the spring-loaded pins I lost when it jumped off the table and became hard to find in the carpet. I found it the next morning with better lighting, but I had already replaced the missing pin with one from the kit. I saved the $15 fee the jewelry store would have charged to remove links, and now I know I can do this job myself for any future watch purchases.
