XP100 Light Radiance Demi Permanent Hair Colour - 1.0 Black 100ml

Very impressed. I had red hair and wanted to go back to black. I mixed this with a 3% 20 vol developer, amazingly there are no red under tones now so I don’t have to put a toner on :)

Good product

Beautiful coverage, looks as vibrant as permanent colours used in the past. Makes my cobalt blue under-layer pop. One box covered all my thick hair that is almost waist length (excluding small blue sections).

I had grown out caramel highlights which I toned to a dark red in Oct. They eventually turned orange, so I decided to go back to my natural colour dark brown/black using this. On washed and towel dried hair, I mixed 2 parts 1.9% 6V and 1 tube of this in 4.0, left on for 20ish min and rinsed out and did one more 1 wash with sulphate free shampoo to get rid of the developer residue and then a hair mask to add moisture back. My hair is quite long up to my lower waist, medium thickness and dry/frizzy, 2a/2b/2c wavy. I only used 1 tube as I did mid lengths to ends of hair only, you may need 2 tubes if you are doing your whole head.

Does not work I tried it many times but no results I’m very disappointed I don’t understand why it’s not working may be it’s out of date I have no idea

Not sure what the bad reviews are for, maybe people don't realise you're supposed to mix it with a developer? Works great anyway that's why I keep coming back to buy again. If I'm just doing root touch ups this tube can last months so it works out a lot cheaper than box dye. And I can just mix as much as I need.
