We wanted the book to be practical, and also have breadth and depth of coverage. There are many practical explanations and examples to illustrate and ease learning. The book covers various models of Siemen’s PLCs including S7-300, S7-1200, S7-400, and S7-1500.The coverage of project organization provides the basis for a good understanding of programming and project organization. The book covers ladder logic and Function Block Diagram (FBD) programming. I have two concerns about both books: 1) the lack of a remissive index at the end of the book should help to find similar items through the book. 2) at the end of each chapter you will find a quiz about the specific chapter. At the end of the book, you will find all the answers of those quizzes but only for the even questions, the odd ones aren't present. Strange isn't.
