Review: My Favorite Travel Companion! - Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (4.5/5) rounded up to 5 ⭐ :) I've had the OontZ Angle Solo Bluetooth Portable Speaker by Cambridge Soundworks for three years now, and it's still performing as if it were brand new. Its compact size has made it my go-to travel companion, and I've been pleasantly surprised by its resilience. Whether it's packed snugly in my suitcase or tossed into my backpack, this speaker has proven its durability time and time again. I've accidentally dropped it on more than one occasion, and it's held up impressively without any noticeable decline in performance. In terms of functionality, it boasts a commendable wireless range, ensuring that I can move around freely without losing connection. The sound quality is clear, with a surprisingly loud volume output and rich bass for its size. Connecting it to my devices has always been a breeze, and the battery life is satisfactory, with easy charging options. All in all, the OontZ Angle Solo is a reliable and robust portable speaker that offers great value for its price. Whether you're traveling or just lounging at home, it's sure to enhance your audio experience. Highly recommended!
Review: Good Value and decent sound - Darn good value for the money and the battery lasts way longer enough for me. I’ll show my previous ignorance on these types of speakers. Your iPhone may think it’s a pair of earbuds and adjust the sound level accordingly. If you tell your iPhone that it’s a speaker, wow the difference in the sound output is night and day different. This thing has bounced around all over the place with me and has been rugged and reliable.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I control the bass.**
A: No one controls The Bass.. Submit

**Q: Would this be a good speaker to take to the beach and play under a beach canopy/tent?**
A: This would be a great speaker to play under a canopy/tent at a low volume so as not to bother other beach goers. Unless it’s a private beach, in which case, call the police to get rid of the uninvited beach goers and crank up the volume.
I think asking if any Bluetooth speaker would be a good speaker to take to the beach is a very silly and selfish question/idea.

**Q: Is this battery operated? description only startes it includes a lithium battery, no usb charging cord**
A: Runs on an internal rechargeable battery that charges with included micro usb cord and charger (or any phone charger with micro usb cord)

**Q: Does it always stay connected? Some speakers shut off after an hour or so non use**
A: Yeah this speaker is very user friendly
Mine shuts off if no songs are playing after about 10-15 mins, also my neighbor loves it, every time I jam my music I can hear him dancing, at least I think he’s dancing 🕺🏾. “I want to disturb my neighbors, cause I’m feeling so right” -Bob Marley

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big sound, little speaker
*by K***O on September 5, 2026*

Very compact but with big sound!!! For the price, the function is spot on and it's size is such that I can easily take it with me where ever I go. And it is light weight unlike many bluetooth speakers I have had before. Easy to use, hooks up to bluetooth with surprising ease. Loving it so far!
