Excellent flood/spot beam, and even better customer service!
First off, the lights I received were scuffed and marked, missing hardware, and were apparently a previously purchased and returned item. That's Amazon's fault because the order is fulfilled by them. Although this was a Prime purchase, I decided to reach out to the seller and provided photos. The seller replied to my email within an hour or two and without prompting, said they would send out a new set. I received that new set of lights in two days. Kudos to the seller! As for the lights... I mounted the lights on the forks of a Honda CRF300L (on/off road) motorcycle. At this price point, the lights are very bright and do an excellent job at filling in the voids where the OEM lights miss. Because of the unique, "dual function" (flood/spot) reflector, these lights provide an excellent, bright, long distance spot beam, as well as a good amount of "spill" to illuminate to the sides and directly in front of the bike. Between the brightness and design of the beam, it would not be a good idea to uses these when driving in traffic, unless you want to be that "a$$-hat" who blinds everyone. They're even a bit bright for day use in traffic. The light color is a very clear, white color which I would venture to guess is right about at the advertised 6000k range. Not so high on the spectrum that they start looking blue, yet very white. Total current draw for the pair of lights was 2.8 amps @ 12.5 volts. Between awesome customer service, and the quality of the light output in this price range, I would highly recommend them.

Excellent auxiliary lights
These work very, very well. I've purchased them multiple times for motorcycles over the past several years and they have never let me down once. Easy to install, very bright and a great value.

Bright as heck to incomming traffic, affordable quality aux lights
I mounted these on a 2008 Kawasaki concours, tire height. First of all I was impressed how bright these suckers are , in the first picture ,the small lights you see are the bike's head lights , the super bright lights are the Sam lights. my first impressions: these lights are well made , rugged well worth over 60 dollars a pair, my only complain is that they scatter too much light everywhere , if these lights were put on a housing with a projectors these could probably replace your regular head lights, as they stand they are unusable at night on city streets or dark highways you could kill someone with them, I would probably only use them in the day time to help drivers see you, when I took the bike for a test ride around the block an on coming car had to stop in the middle of the street because how blinded he was, so a switch to turn them off is a must, they may also be useful on dirt roads or empty roads where you are sure there is no one driving the opposite way. I do not know if they last as long as they say they do I just installed them yesterday, but already better than the ones I got from Facebook that is for sure. pros:well built, bright, cheap, easy to install. Cons:light scatter makes it impossible to use on streets, not DOT approved, mostly for off roads/back-roads. You may also need to buy a bike specific mount because it does not come with any sort of mounting bracket. edit: after a long 2000 mile trip I have the following updates: Lights held well on the rain, no water got inside, they seem to draw very little current, yet they are very bright, the best use I had for them was during the day as day light running lights, cars were moving out of the way well in advance before i got to them on the left lane, people will see you clearly no problem better than driving with the high beams on. at night if you combine them with the high beams these suckers will turn everything in a short distance into day light, and high beams will illuminate the distance, if you are on a dark road by yourself these lights will do well, specially good to find pot holes on dark back roads and other obstacles, a cleaver way to install them would be to wire a relay to the high beams so when you turn the high beams these turn on too and then they turn off when you don't. Still recommend if you want no compromise on day time visibility and night time illumination

Holy cow.....
Holy cow! these lights just blew me away. It was so easy to install with the bracket and relay/fuse I bought separately. Installed it on my FJ09 on its crash bar. I needed to aim it a little downward so I don't blind oncoming traffic. Now I could see both sides of the road. The low beam headlight on my bike isn't adequate to light up the road, I work nights and take interstate and country roads combined and these lights just put a smile on my face. I have read some reviews to put silicone to weatherproof it and I did but unfortunately it contaminated one of my lenses now it's hazy, so I contacted chelhead if they can sell me just the lense. They get back at me (her name Leona) said that they don't sell lenses separately but instead send me a new pair which I received them today. What an awesome company and customer service is topnotch. I would recommend these lights to anyone who wanted to have a safe ride during nights/dark hours just aim it a little downward because they are really bright. The feel on the housing is very sturdy. Used some waterproof connectors and put lots of silicone around and back of the switch on my handle bar and works really good. You will not regret buying and installing these on your bike a little bulky but looks awesome on my bike. I'vs seen similar lights on chp motorcycles that size and they are bad ass. I can't speak for longevity because I've only used them in a week. I don't know if they are really waterproof as well (I don't ride in the rain). So far so good with these lights. I will update this review as soon as I get some negative about it. I will surely buy it again.

Put them on an adventure bike, more of a spot light with wide lighting aswell… work in -50 I have viabrated the hell out of them and still work like new. I have rid with them in the rain and they haven't forged up yet, haven’t had much time in the rain with them I’m happy considering I spent 250 on a led head light and there cheapos are just as bright!
