Great for historical reenactments
Exactly as pictured. Well made, reasonably confortable. Sizing is accurate. Look great with my historical reenactments.

These fit perfectly. Perfect for my elphaba costume. They are comfy. I can run in them and they have good grip. Looks good and feels good.

Not for those who want ankle support
Daughter needed these for a dance number at her dance studio. They zip only and can not be made tighter at the ankle. The lace does nothing but make it look like a boot that laces up. So for those that want ankle support these are not it. We are going to try to alter on our own😬 they are cute though

Uncomfortable
Stiff, awkward and uncomfortable. They are cute, but size up. I have small narrow feet and can fit a 6 1/2 or 7 but in the size 7 I bought my toes are hitting the edge without walking.

Beautiful and Authentic Looking
These are gorgeous boots; they look well-made and very true to the Victorian Era! These will work for a Phantom of the Opera Costume (and will likely be worn many times after Halloween! Love, love , love them!

Comfortable throughout 8 hrs of non-stop walking and standing
Perfect for cosplay: affordable for my 1-time use. Didn't realize the shafts would be so wide instead of snug. Thought they would surely rub and scratch the skin. But it didn't. The pleather was soft and pliable. Took the advice here and ordered a size up. Fit well with enough room for socks. The arches of the boots seemed to support all my weight. Well balanced. Good, solid grip on bottoms of boots.

Poor quality and design. Looked terrible.
I was not happy with the quality of these boots. They fit loosely and looked like rubber galoshes (loose and shapeless) around the front of my foot. I tried them on inside my house but never wore them in public--they were that ugly!

Not for people with narrow feet
I fell while walking in these booties. I still love them and I am keeping them. I am just going to have to find a way to give my feet more support, such as extra socks and be more careful when stepping down off curbs. I am 57 and my ankles are weak anyway due to health reasons. They look really good with jeans and skirts, whatever you want to wear them with. If you have a slim ankle, they will not hug it. Goes again to support for narrow legged people. I will find cute fill-ins for that area. If you are like me with problem ankles, I would not risk getting these because of the heels on them and lack of support. If your ankles and calves are strong, you will enjoy these boots very much. I also think the boots are good quality. One only had a mild scuff mark from my fall. The boots faired much better than I did. 😂 I recommend these boots for people with medium to wide feet. If you have narrow feet, be prepared to have to fill in the boot to have a more snug fit. It would be nice if this boot came in 1/2 sizes. I went up a size and it was a half size to much.
