The pink colour is more of a violet rather than red and there is also a warm white colour. They are arranged in groups of four, reading blue, green, violet, white. The starting colour nearest the switch depends on each set, so it can be any one of the 4, but the sequence is always the same. Bope that answers your question.

Do they come with batteries

Yes the batteries are in the cork. They are easily accessible to replace when needed. Amazon do the batteries and are cheaper than buying anywhere else. They are quite expensive to buy in supermarkets. I bought a pack of 12. There are 3 batteries in each cork. They are very small round ones. Hope this helps. The lights are fantastic I love them. can the wire be cut to about 8 inches long?

Wouldn’t recommend cutting but by winding around your finger you can reduce its length down to 1” or 25mm with no need to cut.
