Useful reference and easy to read!

It is the best geriatric psychopharmacology book out in the market. It is very thorough and incorporates the latest research. A must for every clinician who is involved with older adults.

Book is generally good. A little disappointed after my superficial review.. Author advises to treat anxiety with Seroquel among other medications...As far I'm aware, this medication does not have indication for anxiety from FDA. It has, though, Black Box warning from FDA for morbidity and mortality, and there is widespread campaign of cutting antipsychotics in elderly. I found this suggestion outdated.

This is a superb textbook. I was involved in earlier editions of this book, and can say that the new one is a terrific addition to any geriatrician's library. --Ronald Pies MD

I ENJOYED THE SECOND EDITION AS MUCH AS THE FIRST AND MAYBE EVEN MORE, AS THE OUTLINES FOR COMMONLY PRESCIBED PSYCHOPHARM. DRUGS IS SO CONVIENENT AND ESASY TO LOOK UP. WHEN I AM MAKING MY CHIOCES FOR PRESCRIBING. I ENJOYED THIS EDITION SO MUCH I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE FOR A COWORKER.

È uno dei pochi libri che tratta in maniera approfondita ed esaustiva le problematiche della psicogeriatria. Letteratura aggiornata al 2014. Peccato che sia solo in inglese, ma cmq davvero interessante
