So far it's great. Less noise. Relatively fast compared to other 12v compressors. I've inflated about 10-15 tires using a Ryobi 18V battery. The air from this thing gets hot. Using the coiled air hose dissipates the heat. It acts like a condenser or after cooler. I wanted the auto stop version but in the process of comparing prices, i got tricked. Ended up with the manual unit.

This is a nice sturdy compressor. The sturdy hard case, complete with a tire plug kit, is a huge bonus. Do yourself a favor and toss a small tube of rubber cement in the case to make it easier to install a tire plug. I keep this in my camper, in case I ever get a flat at some remote location. I especially like the threaded fitting to connect the hose to the tire's valve stem. No hokey clamps or some funky quick-release, just a simple threaded chuck. If using this compressor on a regular basis, you might want a quicker method to attach it, but for occasional use it is very nice with zero leakage. You'll appreciate this if you've got a big tire to inflate. I ran into two minor problems, certainly not deal-breakers. 1) The gauge consistently read about 20psi low, compared to several other gauges I have. Not a huge deal, but I didn't catch this in time to exchange for another. 2) The socket of the battery terminal adapter is a bit lightweight, compared to the sturdiness of rest of the kit. The compressor can draw up to 20A, which is too much for most cigarette lighter sockets and will blow fuses. You're much better off just connecting directly to the battery. I modified my compressor by wiring the battery clamps directly (with an in-line fuse) instead of using the supplied adapter. Don't let these minor problems discourage you. For the price, I am very impressed. Edit: 5 years later, this compressor is still working nicely. Be sure to start your engine to ramp up the available voltage to the compressor. One minor issue I encountered: The tire plug tools are a bit on the light duty side. I've done many plugs with other kits, but this was the first time using this set. I had to give the rasp a light tap with a mallet to get it started, but the handle didn't feel strong enough for such admitted abuse. The end of the insertion tool bent a little after one plug, no hammer used. So I'd say the compressor is fine but spring for better tire plug tools.

I bought a compact air compressor for my truck for emergencies. I ended up needing to use it to put in about 20 psi into one tire. It actually took me a while to figure out how to use it. It didn't come with any instructions and was frustrating. I finally figured it out. After a few minutes of trying to add air, it got really hot and started smoking. I decided I needed something a little stronger, so I bought this. I had a tire that needed a few more psi and I really wanted to see how well it worked. Within a minute it was where it needed to be. It was so simple to use. You just turn it on and it shows you the psi on the guage. It wasn't really loud. It has a decent case with several tire repair items that I hope I never need to use. I think it will be a great little compressor. I'm happy with it an feel safer driving with something that can pump up my tires if needed.

Me gustó bastante este inflador porque viene en un estuche y trae varios accesorios que lo hacen muy práctico para tener en el carro. El tamaño está muy bien para guardarlo sin ocupar demasiado espacio y el kit incluye diferentes piezas para varias necesidades. Me parece una buena opción para tenerlo a mano en caso de necesitar inflar una llanta o algún otro artículo. Hasta ahora estoy contenta con la compra.

I love this thing! I keep it in the back of my Jeep and it’s come in handy more than once. I was surprised at how quiet (relative to other compressors) this compressor was compared to my old one. It is also MUCH faster than my old one, which I wasn’t expecting. It is about half as fast as the ones at the gas stations (my old one was about five times slower), which is pretty great for a portable version. The other tools have come in handy as well - even for non-tire related issues. The instructions recommend not running this compressor continuously for more than ten or fifteen minutes, and the one time I started to exceed that time frame, I could tell it was starting to struggle, so I definitely recommend adhering to that bit of advice in the owners manual. I’m glad I bought this one, I even bought my roommate one for Christmas and she loves it too. I would definitely recommend this item.

Solid and relatively quiet performer Heavy duty and fast. Wasn't paid for this review. Just out of my heart after using it many times and watching it doing its thing

No obvious quality issues yet but it seems like a cheap chinese product. The instructions are printed in broken English and don't make a lot of sense. It took a while to ship, but everything was included as advertised.

had cause to use this compressor shortly after receiving it,on a slow puncture. did the job perfectly and speedily. the whole kit is small enough to keep in the boot...full marks...

They have a great support i thought i was missing some part and they replied fast and told me where it was hidden inside the hose and all is good. I would buy from them again with support like this.

As far as I know it's fine but it's an Xmas present so all I can say is it looks great.
