I have only needed this a few times. Usually when I fly domestically I take only a carry on and a personal item, and those things are rarely weighed. But some European airlines allow only one personal item, with a weight limit. And an Asian airline has a weight limit for carry on bags (and weighs them). When I have needed this scale it has been invaluable. Its measurement hasn't let me down. It weighs in kilograms or pounds, holds the weight reading, and tares. I really like the way the strap to connect to luggage works. It is quick, easy, and secure so I can use both hands to lift. I would buy this again and recommend it to others.

Easy to use, SO accurate, was going on a trip With 8 luggage, all 8 were accurately weighed under the 50lb limit and so I had no issues at all at the airport which was so nice. Might be difficult for someone who cannot life the weight of of the luggage as with this style that could be a little awkward but that isn’t a design flaw as it’s part of how it works, I give this a 10/10. Loved these! Got one for myself and one for a friend who travels a lot! I also used it to weigh my clothing on hangers before placing them on closet rods to ensure the rods don't have too much weight on them. Definitely something to have around the house. Never know when it may come in handy! Easy to read screen, easy to use. Comes with batteries included.

I'm happy to say goodbye to the days of picking up my heavy suitcase to attempt to weigh it on my regular body scale. Although using the body scale was more accurate than not, having this little handheld luggage scale is so much better. It is really good for weighing luggage and much easier. The luggage still has to be lifted, but it's not quite as tedious. Having a second scale is great because one can be packed to travel with you so that you can keep an eye on the weight after shopping while on vacation! The only issue for me is the numbers and the weight in both pounds and kg's on the scale are small, thus the 4-star rating. Other than that, it is a smart tool to have.

After our last oversea trip and experiencing the foreign country "different" requirements especially when it comes to weight for your luggage, I decided to invest in a small hand scale for the future. It doesn't take up much room and it's worth it to save up to $100 or more in fee's charged by other airlines if you go over their weight limit (less than the US). This device works great. The strap can be doubled around and hangs on itself or you can use just the hook part on your item. My husband is going on a hiking trip and wants to keep his backpack under a certain weight, so he's been using it every time he puts something in to check the weight lol. I like how you can switch from lb to kg since traveling oversea you use more metric than our weights system. I'm hoping the battery life will be long since our next trip isn't for another month and it will be a month long. I also tested the device against my other non digital scale to make sure it was accurate and it was. I'm happy with this purchase as I plan on traveling more in the future!

I don’t know my coworker said he had problems with the same one I got but I bought mine 9 months ago (Sept 2024) and got a red one, his was in April 2025 and was a different color. The scale works great for me. Helps me pack efficiently so I’m not opening all my bags holding up the line at baggage drop off counter. This scale Gets me within a pound from what airport scale shows & was also helpful and accurate when weighing carry-on bags overseas. You need to hold it steady then weight will be locked onto screen after 2-4 seconds or when the weight measurement stops changing significantly. If you’re a weakling and shake, your measurements won’t be accurate. The Battery cover needs screwdriver to open which is a pain but mine finally went dead after 8-9 months. Probably will last longer once I use a legit battery like Duracell.
