Amazing lil shindig! This has helped me in more ways than I initially thought upon purchase . Bought two more versions after this one from Big Gator and they are all phenomenal! Before, I had a plastic more bulky one from a different brand…I think Trend, or …don’t quite recall…it was fine for centering but nothing close to THESE cool demons ! No seriously if you’re on the fence, get these Big Gators!! The price may seem a bit steep before purchasing, but once you see how handy they are to have around ,you’ll be using em in more n more occasions I guarantee it, and that price will suddenly not seem so bad…AND you’ll want a few more versions for those different types of drill sizes/tasks. It’s definitely one of those tools/accessories that, once you get em, you don’t understand how you got along without, y’know? High quality machining , precise markings, nice n heavy, …feels real good in the hand …Big Gator ain’t messing around I tell ya. All in all excellent and highly recommended!!

I bought the drill guide to help get straight holes through a 4x6 post so I could attach a metal post base support to it. The guide worked as expected and the holes lined up perfectly with the post base I was using.

Solid quality tool, machine precision

Sollten Sie vor der Wahl stehen: Bohrlehre Wolfcraft oder diese (ich habe beide). Dann kaufen Sie diese. Warum? Schmaler, präziser (die Einkerbungen - man sieht sie auf den Fotos - sorgen für eine exakte Ausführung in Kombination mit Schraubzwingen). Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung..., deshalb werde ich mir die schmale Reihe auch noch kaufen. Ich denke, dass man damit auch präziser arbeiten kann, als mit einem wackeligen Bohrständer (sofern es um 90 Grad Bohrungen geht)...

Quite expensive but as a alternative to a drill press for accurate drilling you cant go wrong. Easy to clamp down and line up and dead straight holes

J'avais acheté ce produit pour percer des trous qui servent à rentrer des équerres invisibles pour étagères suspendues. J'ai longuement étudier les différents produits et il semblait que celui-ci était dans les meilleurs. Au final, après de nombreuses tentatives en utilisant jusqu'à 5 serre-joints, une équerre et un niveau, je n'ai jamais pu percer droit sur une profondeur de 15cm. Il y a toujours un décalage, rien ne vaut une perceuse sur colonne. Avec un foret à bois de 13mm, il y a trop de jeu entre le diamètre du foret et la côte intérieure du guide en diamètre 13mm. C'est moins pire que de ne rien avoir du tout mais ce n'est pas non plus la panacée...
