Great for beating the heat!
I bought this car canopy a few months ago and it’s been absolutely perfect. It was inexpensive compared to other options I looked at, and surprisingly easy to set up—took me about an hour with minimal help. The frame feels sturdy and the cover fits snugly without sagging. I was mainly looking for something to shield the car from the brutal summer sun, and this has been a total lifesaver. The difference in temperature inside the car is huge, and it’s made daily errands way more bearable. What’s impressed me most is how well it’s held up over time. We’ve had a few heavy rainstorms since I put it up, and it’s stayed solid with no leaks or sagging. The material hasn’t faded or torn, and the structure hasn’t shifted at all. It’s doing exactly what I hoped—keeping the car cooler, protecting the paint, and saving me from that blast of heat when I open the door. Honestly, I wish I’d bought one sooner.

Perfect Car Cover
***Update*** Unfortunately my canopy collapsed after a strong storm recently. Luckily it didn't do any damage to my car because I had put pool noodles on the poles to prevent any scratching if my doors hit it. Multiple poles collapsed all at the same time and were completely bent and un-usable any longer. BUT even with that being said this canopy lasted me a long time and did an amazing job. I plan on getting another one soon to replace this one. I recently purchased this carport to park my new vehicle under because my driveway has three walnut trees right next to it and they are constantly dropping walnuts, sap, branches and other things onto my car. I would go out and wash my car and within hours it would be a mess again. This took my wife, son and I about 1 1/2 hours to assemble and that was only because I was dumb and didn't see the instructions in the box. The tarp is very nice and strong and seems to be pretty thick too. The poles are sturdy as well and to my surprise the box had 4 bags in it to put dirt or sand in them to help hold down the tent. It also came with gloves for you to protect your hands which I highly recommend you wear or you will have silver all over your hands when you are done. The day after I put this up we had a tropical storm come through and this thing didn't move an inch. I just looked and there is a nice covering of debris and sap on the top of it but not a thing on my car. I love it. I did buy some pool noodles that haven't come yet to put around the poles just so that I don't hit the poles with my doors. I will say that if you are a taller person or have a taller car you may want to think about putting these on top of some wood blocks or cinder blocks to give it some added height. I am 5 foot 9 and just make it under the side without having to duck. Overall great product and worth the money.

Good product, poor packaging
Pretty easy to put up, must stake it down very well like all tarps and tents. Don't rely on those weighted bags stake it down properly 12-in stakes on an angle and I have had no problems. The only issues are the bungees that hold the tarpon wear out quickly you have to buy new ones every year. Otherwise I would buy another one I do wish I could get a screened in sides for it.

Customer Service is Incredibly Excellent!
Update. Heavy winds recently caused major damage to 6 of the poles and one of the 3 corner galvanized steel support beams. Had to take the entire thing apart just to see what poles needed to be replaced and if the canopy was ripped or torn. To my amazement the canopy was undamaged and still strong after 2 years of sun and winds. I knew the 10X20 was no longer under any warranty but I contacted Quictent. As before, the customer service was more than excellent. Within a few days we had replacement parts on our doorstep. I couldn't believe the speed, accuracy and cost of the shipment. Summer, at Quictent, was so kind and helpful! The BEST customer service anywhere! We will spend a couple hours putting up the canopy this week. And I can confidently know that if winds cause a problem again I can always rely on the excellent customer service. Quictent has a return customer for sure. Previous Review: We purchased the 10X20 Heavy Duty Galvanized Quictent for our old boat as boat covers always wore out so quickly. The unit went up quite easily. The directions only had pictures so it did take 2 older people a couple hours to set up. Everything went great for 6 months. However, we had a strong wind as the aftermath of Hurricane Debbie reached our area. I had not put the sandbags in place and should have... The wind carried away the tent but we were able to catch it (with the help of my granddaughter), lowered it to the ground and found that 2 of the poles were badly bent. I know the wind was too much for the carport to survive, but it did. The news said we had 35 mile an hour winds that day. I contacted Quictent's customer service and Betty was as good a customer service agent as you can get. I knew there were no warranties due to weather so I was expecting the worst. Betty handled everything within a couple days and Quictent is sending us 2 new poles at no cost. This shocked me as I knew it was not under warranty and who gives this kind of service these days!?? I will not hesitate to purchase from them again so even though it blew away temporarily, it was NOT the fault of company. I'm going to attach the sandbags to the 6 poles along with the tent stakes when we get it back up. Thanks Quictent!
