Great for tracing a line
Didn't have to use a lot. I poured maybe a cup in the drain. We were trying to determine where a basement drain came out at. This stuff worked like a charm. It did flow onto concrete and didn't stain or leave any color.

perfect for puking skeltons!
Got this for a puking skeleton Halloween decoration, and it worked amazing! Brighter and longer-lasting than the expensive dye I used before, and I still have half left for next year. Highly recommend!

Green Water Tracing & Leak Detection Flourescent Dye
for me it only did 50% of the job. Previous owners made some changes to the house that was constructed with underground gutter drainage. In short a blacktop driveway was put in, and routing of the sump pump was changed. I wanted to trace the water based route on suspicions, and severe damage being down to the driveway from parking on a certain area. As long as there were puddles, I could see the dye with a black light in the dark. However I could not see where underground drain lines might be leaking, or see the dye in daylight. I did use an amount that was said to treat 300 gallons starting in the sump pump well.
