3FT Length Router Cable CAB-SS-2626X DTE/DCE Smart Serial Cable for Cisco Router

I have bought 9 DTE/DCE Smart Serial for CISCO cabla router My buying arrives before the time schudule, it was ok all in the package envelope We use them in a CISCO lab, with CCNA1 students. They are so pleased to use them Our old serial cables (DTE V35/DCE V35) had broken connectors and have heavy cables that posible will ruin some ports. These new are so light weight, They identify so clearly what end is DCE and DTE We arm and configure a classic lab practice with 3 routers (mesh net) with dynamic and Static routing All work 100. We use our old routers and the new one, all of them connects and transmit packages 100%

It works with Cisco routers and switches

I really like the simplicity of this cable compared to the larger ones in my schools lab that have 2 cables connected with male and female ends. The DCE and DTE ends are clearly labeled on the plastic molding on the connection ends. One thing that concerns me (see picture) is that the said molding on the connections might be to thick to use on a WIC-2T. The do not fit flush and although I my serial interfaces show Status = Up, I am concerned that the stress may damage to WIC-2T eventually.

This is exactly what I want.

Using this to connect a 2801 to a 2811 (both with WIC-2T interface cards) in a homelab and it works perfectly.

It’s a cable it works construe good

Worked fine on my Cisco serial wan card. Good quality doesn’t feel cheap.
