Fluker's Hygrometer for Accurate Terrarium Readings

As far as non-digital gauges go, this one is pretty decent. The bezel around the dial is black instead of gold but it works just fine, within +/- 5% of my other calibrated ones. I use it for my hissing cockroaches so precision is not critical for them. If you need absolute accuracy, I recommend a digital gauge with a probe instead. But it's nice to not have another battery to replace and the little frog graphic is cute.

This is a bit smaller than most anolg gauges out but works well and does not fog up

Works great! Have one in my gecko enclosure and one in my hognose enclosure. Easy to read and as accurate as my digital ones. These are much smaller and pleasing to the eyes, in my opinion

Works perfect for telling me the humidity in my snake's terrariums. I bought one, worked so well that I bought 2 more for my 2 other snakes. Very accurate, cute design with the frog. I just lean them against something in their tanks so I can move them as I please. Great product, thanks!

Just arrived today and they immediately let me down just a bit, they are not a gold tone but rather black bezel..The picture not accurate and its so hard to even find out if they can swap them thru amazon. I figure I will just deal with it......10 hours into the testing all 3 of the hygrometers they are with in 5%+/- of the salt test so least they are closer then most.

I have checked this hygrometer against a Kestrel 4500NV and a La Crosse indoor/outdoor weather station periodically over a few weeks. The Kestrel and La Crosse are almost always within a percent or two of each other. The Kestrel comes certified by NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The Kestrel and La Crosse are usually close to the reading on the hygrometer for my whole-house humidifier. I believe the Kestrel is accurate. The Fluker's I have consistently reads 10 to 15% higher than the Kestrel. It is unusable to me and I imagine a reptile or amphibian depending on it would die, get sick, or just be miserable. Mine is going in the garbage. If you get one I recommend checking it against a reliable instrument.

I purchased this for my Box turtle tank and Russian tortoise tank It’s small but has large easy to read numbers. It’s accurate and fits anywhere . It also comes with an extra battery and a really good price
