Very good Quality
This review is for the Foxelli Carbon Fiber Walking/Trekking Poles. These are fantastic quality at a very reasonably price. Being carbon fibre they are very light weight and are easily adjustable with markings on the side and flip locks to lock the sections. The grip is made of cork with a foam rubber lower grip, the straps are very comfortable and are clevery adjusted without the use of a buckle. They came with snow baskets, mud baskets, road feet, normal feet/tip covers, carry bag and a belly/bum bag. I have never had trekking poles before so took them out to some flat ground nearby and I got on with them very quickly. They will help my walking on Dartmoor and will increase my stability going up and down rough ground and crossing streams etc. They are extremely good value and I can't wait to get on the moors with them.

Good quality product
These walking poles did a good job during a recent Himalayan 10-day trekking expedition. The flip locking rather than the twisting mechanism that is often found in other walking poles, to adjust the height seemed to have worked well. Light enough and sturdy enough.

Brilliant poles but broke within a month with heavy use
Unlike metal poles these do break. However, they are a joy and i did use them heavily to brake very fast downhill, and heavily used uphill and on the level, sometimes using the spikes on road. The hardened steel tips dont wear down at all, the rubber feet last over a month with very frequent use, and the segment joint also broke after the segment shortened but was used shorter. 100% carbon is probably not ideal, some stronger material would no doubt help. But i am 95kg, so....I've never used better, but spare parts please amazon!! Easy to store and adjust and comfy sweat absorbing grips.

Wow, that's it, just WOW.
I have been looking at various walking poles and lots of research later I was about to press the Buy Now button. These popped up at a fraction of the price so I thought a bit more research was needed. I'm so glad I did!!! These poles are amazing. Tough carbon fibre, quick release adjustment, everything you need to hike from the Arctic to the Sahara and onto Scunthorpe for the real test lol. Joking aside, these poles are just fantastic, comfortable and really lightweight. Comfortable grips and sturdy wrist straps. They are easily packaged up in a neat bag that can carry everything and straps nicely to the side of my rucksack. I didn't realise when I bought them that you can also register them for a free extended warranty which is awesome!! A great piece of kit for beginners to experienced outdoor explorers.

Buy again
These are the best poles i have purchased. I use them daily in order to move about due to disability . They are so light but give me total confidence due to their strength. The mechanism to open & close is simple and quick.

Great poles. Would recommend if they sort the plastic ends that fall off!
I have had my poles for 12months now. Used them mainly on my ultra run recces. Was going to get some better known and lighter ones but decided I would stay with these (event in June) due to a sense of loyalty! The plastic ends fell off on my first outing but because the ground is so hard it didn’t really affect me. I have run multiple 30-40km runs along the Pennine Way with these. I carry them all the way as they don’t really fit into my bag easily. I try and carry them at the bottom of pole 1. This is central. They have been more than adequate. Yesterday one of them snapped! Gutted. Will try to get a replacement end and keep them as spares. Or I may use them on the event. Great poles. Would recommend if they sort the plastic ends that fall off!

Excellent quality and price
Nice sturdy carbon poles. Plenty of accessories supplied & a carrying bag. Good ergonomic grips and wrist straps. Easy length adjustment with camlocks, which is very secure reliable and simple. Overall quality seems high so hopefully should give many years of service.

These are great poles, but lost the rubber foot on one of them the first time I used it which was a pain so I had to buy some more. Otherwise great poles so far

Tested in 7 days trek of Pyrenees mountains...they are very light to carry and quite strong during going uphill or downhill.

I have used and have high quality poles for many years over mountain trails. There is great benefit to use poles not only for stability but also manage weight on your feet/legs over time. We purchased the Foxeilli poles because they break down small enough for packing in a suitcase and we had also thought they were shock absorbing poles as advertised. They are NOT shock absorbing, maybe the manufacturer considers the cork handles as shock-absorbent? I do not, other poles have systems that actually give in slightly like a car shock absorber. The product's literature that came with the product makes no mention of a shock absorbing characteristic. In any event, for the trek we plan to take in the UT natiional parks theses poles are suitable, are well made and should survive well. They are light, sturdy, easily adjustable and well constructed. These should work well for our light duty trekking. I'm happy with the purchase.
