Professional Cutting Board Mats 24 x 18 Inch - 4 Pack, Extra Large White Color, Flexible Plastic made from Heavy Duty HDPE (1/16" Thick)

We finally threw out our large cutting mats after they had burn holes and knife slits in them - took around 10 years. Bought these a few weeks ago. Thick, strong, easy to clean, and we like the white color because it is easier to see the food. They are large, which we like, but will also buy some 12x18 from this company if they sell them. These things are going to last a LONG time... Highly recommended.

These cutting boards are better than I ever expected! They cover any surface you wish to work on. They are easy to keep clean.

Have used the very thin, clear flexible cutting boards in the past and have found them very useful. But they weren't large enough to cover my entire pull-out cutting board, so I wanted something larger. Compared to the ones I had been using, these were very expensive but very large. After a few months of use, I like them a lot and think they were worth the price. These are very large. I used two of them as is, one to go under oils and seasonings on my counter, and the other on the counter to use as an easily cleaned workspace that can also be used for cutting. Even though these weren't my intended uses, they work great like that. I cut one of the others into three pieces, two of which are wide enough to cover my pull-out cutting board. I use those two all the time, and they work great, too. These are thick compared to the thin, clear flexible cutting boards, and they are not as flexible. That's a bit of a negative. Also, the thin ones seem to be made of a little harder material. That may be an issue in the future, but I have found these to be fairly durable. Some reviews have complained that these are easily cut into, but I haven't found that to be a problem. Of course, if you are not cutting straight down, perpendicular to the mat, you can slice into these, as they can be cut and trimmed with scissors. The two sides of these are textured differently. One side is very finely textured (too finely to call pebbled, but like that), and the other is much smoother. I tend to use the textured side for cutting, as the cuts show up less on that side. I don't know how long these will last for cutting, but you do get four of them. I suspect it will be measured in years, not months. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I'm not loving these cutting sheets. They slide. I gave a couple to my daughter to try and she said the same. Now I'm looking for something I can buy to put on the bottom of them so they won't slide. My husband says they're a hazard because you think they're stable and they're not.

The mats are nice and large but they will stain and do mark with my Henkel knives. They can be flipped over which is nice.

I liked the size and thickness of these matts. I purchased them to cover the bottom of my porcelain sink which gets black marks whenever we set a metal pot in the sink. I cut a whole for the drain and it works very well. I am also going to use one for when I make sandwiches for a tea since you can cut on the matt as well as making cleanup so easy!

Not commercial or professional grade. First time used, knife cut right into it leaving large scratches in mat, like the ones I threw out. Arrived with corners broken off. NOT happy!

So far these stay flat unlike the thin ones that warp after months of use. Super strong and thick.

I rent an apartment that's 35 years old so the countertops are not in the greatest shape and I can't have them replaced. I bought this 4 pack because they are the perfect size to fit on my counters on either side of my stove. I put the other 2 mats on the other counter in my galley kitchen. They look great and work very well. They are thicker than I thought they would be and clean easily. I would buy these again. Fast shipping too, I got them 2 days before they said I would.
