Excellent value!
When the E-6 message came up on my oven and I called the Sears dealer they wanted triple the price for the same product so I was very happy with the price I paid on Amazon.. Oven works perfect!

Be careful of length
My one issue was that the sensor in my oven was shorter than this one. Although it said in the description that it fit the repair man said it should not be used. Otherwise it was a good find.

Was a Chinese made piece of junk. Definitely not OEM grade. Wires broke that were soldered!
I put it in the trash and ordered a much overpriced OEM part from Maytag!

Whirlpool Oven
Although this didn’t fix my problem, it was easy to install and convenient to have the adapaters.

No more F10 code and oven works great!
Probe installs in the top left portion of the oven. Must unscrew and remove back panel of range/oven and install the probe via the rear. Oven is working 100% properly again. Simple repair. No more over heating, and no more F10 error codes. This fixed my 10 year old Kenmore oven.

Worked to fix F10 / 'runaway temp' error on Kenmore electric oven
Oven sensor came with 2 pigtails segments - each with a different style connector. This allows sensor to be be used 3 different configurations. 1- without any pigtail (as-is), 2 using pigtail A, using pigtail B. Longest part of replacement was removing the 6 pan-head bolts holding on rear panel on oven. Our oven did not have a small panel for just the temp sensor like some do. So the whole thing had to come off. Then one bolt holding sensor in place. You need to check out youtube for whats involved in replacing it if you plan on doing it yourself. Cant imagine what an appliance repair tech would charge to come out and do this. Fast and easy repair.
