If you are a good welder, this wire work really good. I'm happy and my welder loves it. Make sure you have the right contact tip and it will lay dimes. The flux is not as messy and easy to scrape.

I'm no welder, but can do a passable job on things no one sees or needs to trust their life to, but the welding I was doing with the junk wire that came with the Harbor Freight welder (the little one) was the problem - at least for ME. My best friend told me to toss that stuff and gave me a partial spool of the Lincoln to try out. WOW! It almost looks like I can weld! Now, I only have to grind for TEN minutes instead of my normal TWENTY. Yeah, I'm no welder, but this is what you want, especially if you're not a good welder. I restocked via Amazon and am set.

Great deal. I use this wire for FCAW on an old Harbor Freight MIG170. Huge improvement in quality over the cheap wires than comes with welders.

It works as it should. Keep the right tip size, roller tension etc and it should feeed well. I am not sure if it is my welder of or this wire (I think the welder though) as it does trip the breaker now while I use this, but it welds correctly, so I need to look at my welder more closely.

My husband loved the quality of this wire. He said it produced very little splatter unlike some of the wire he's purchased in the past.

I have no idea how Lincoln makes better wire than other brands, but it does. I like this wire, use it on my Lincoln 140 mig. Great wire, amazon makes it easy to buy :-)
