Impressive sound from this small undercounter radio
Bought "used like new" and it pretty much was, except one of the three mounting screws was missing. I picked up a matching one at ACE for 75 cents. Saved almost half on the radio buying used, so it wasn't a big deal. It sounds great. Has two speakers on the bottom, audio is clear. No tone controls. All the controls are pushbutton, and use the same display as the clock. That works for me. FM picks up the stations I listen to really well. At first I didn't even stretch out the antenna wire, but did after I finished the install under the counter. Presets are easy enough to set, but there are about 15 of them, and it appears that you can only cycle up through them using the single button. I'm never going to preset that many stations, I might add a third and then have them cycle through those three stations. The tune-up and tune-down buttons work just fine, they seek even pretty iffy stations. No AM but really I don't listen to AM. Bluetooth synced with my phone easily. Can control volume from either the phone or the radio. Sounds good, even pretty loud. The timer won't get any use. I tested it. Kind of painful to set, and it makes a really annoying alarm. We already have a bunch of timers. But it does work. I like the light on the bottom. I just turned it on and left it on. Control buttons are small and labels are dark. But there aren't that many to memorize. Battery backup, a couple of AAAs that were not included with mine, works for clock and radio presets. Doesn't save mode, which preset you were on, or volume setting. I bought it to replace an 80s GE that really looked good in our kitchen, but the audio has been degrading with 60 hz noise for a couple of years and I just got to the point where I hated it. Opened it up, didn't see any bad caps, shrugged and put it back together. Maybe someone wants a clock that kinda works as a radio... I'll leave it in the alley with a note. I was going to give it four stars because of the missing screw and the funny presets selection drill, but it was really cheap and I knew that all I wanted was go be able to tune in a couple of FM stations. It sounds better than I expected it to once I saw how small it is. I'm five stars happy.

Excellent reception/audio quality
I got this to replace an older under-cabinet radio because the one I had previously did not receive radio stations well at all. I chose this model because it has an external antenna wire, not an antenna buried within the power cord. I really think that made all the difference. After installing the unit, I used some rounded cable brad staples to secure the antenna wire along the back edge of my kitchen cabinet, going up. That gets me great reception on 7 favorite stations with no static, unlike my old unit. PROS: -as above, excellent radio reception. Unit is small, slim, easy to install. Easy to operate. Audio quality is above average. Decent bass response given such a small/slim unit. Bluetooth works well and it is easy to establish a connection. CONS: -display is not visible if you are looking down at it; you have to stoop to see what it says. If you are eye level with it, it's great, but unless you are 4 feet tall or have really tall kitchen cabinets that isn't going to happen. -You can't scroll back and forth among your saved radio stations. Once you've entered them, all you can do is cycle through them one way. If you go past, you have to keep pressing the button through all 20 presents (whether saved or not) until it comes around again. -Tuning is a little weird. If you press and hold the tune button, it will rapidly cycle to the next station it finds and then will stop. If you are trying to dial in a particular station, this is annoying. You have to keep briefly but repeatedly/rapidly pressing the tune + button to continually advance the frequency without stopping at stations along the way to get to the one you want. NEUTRAL: -there is a small LED light that you can turn on to light up the area under the radio, but it's too small to be of much use. -The unit has the ability to hold two AA batteries for a battery backup in case the power goes out or you unplug the unit. But all that you lose is the time. not your preset stations, so I elected to not install the batteries--I'd be more worried about them eventually leaking and ruining the unit. It's simple enough to reset the time if the power has gone out. Overall impression: an excellent radio at a great price. It has a couple of quirks, but delivers in the areas that were most important to me: reception and audio quality.

Little radio, big sound
Just installed this. The included template made the placement easy, and the included spacers have a clever design for setting the proper length. The spacers are necessary if the cabinet has an overhang. Haven't tried the Bluetooth but the LED lamp is good. In spite of what the product description noted, two AAA batteries had to be installed for saving clock and pre-sets during power outages. The product description stated the battery was internal.

Very Impressed
This little radio/mp3 player is great! It gets in a FM station I've never been able to get in very well at all in my house. It gets that station in perfectly with its supplied antenna. It connects to a cheaper mp3 player with its 5.2 Blue tooth without problem. The sound is excellent, loud, and not tinny sounding; just the right amount of bass. Very compact. People are saying they have a hard time reading the buttons, yeah, maybe at 4-feet away, but up close they're very readable, and I wear glasses. The light makes a great night light. For the money it's quite a bargain, and I've had a few of these in my 63-years of walking this mortal coil.

Good sound
Good sound. Easy (relatively) installation if you don't mind drilling holes through your cabinets

Very disappointed
I received this radio as a birthday gift in 2019. I have yet to be able to use it. It worked 2-3 times when we first put it under the cabinet but soon after it quit working and I have really never been able to get it to work since. We have unplugged it and tried various things to try and get it to work. This has been a disappointing item, especially after its mounted under my cabinet!

This is a great little radio - the install was straight forward - the sound is pretty good - works great! Simply turn it on or off with the power button. No more stumbling over words to try and get a radio station to play.....on/off. love it. The only thing I would change is the clock is a wee bit small for these old tired eyes. :) I would recommend this product.

I spend a ton of time in the kitchen cooking and entertaining. A perfect unit. The sound quality is surprisingly excellent for such a small unit. I love playing my GFT's Playlist on Spotify through the Bluetooth.

I liked how this radio was digital and a reasonable price. It arrived at my house quickly and I found it easy to install. The functions were easy to understand, but I scared myself silly when I set the alarm off by accident. It sounded like a smoke alarm. lol I wanted this radio for the kitchen which I leave quietly on all the time for background white noise. I have it for the radio stations, but I also realized it has blue tooth. It’s a good little radio and I would recommend it to others.
