Fun way to serious bridge
Well, this was the fourth book I bought to try to learn to play bridge. The problem with me is my "rememory". There's a lot to remember and I need rifle through the books again. This book does a great job in explaining each option. With a side of humor to make it easier, too.

All you need to play sociable bridge
Has all the info you need to play sociable bridge. Summaries of topics in a pictorial form as you go through the book are helpful. Found in necessary to write notes in the book as I read. Mainly to emphasize points. But that's me. Quick read compared to other books I've read. Perfect as a refresher course for someone who hasn't played in a while.

It is a superior teacher. There are fun illustrations, step by step instructions. Nothing is assumed. One of the most basic and practical ways to learn a new skill is by making it fun. The author knows what he is doing. He is systematic and wise. I am a new player in an experienced group. The top bridge player when asked, advised me to get this book. It is delightful, reassuring.

An easy-to-understand and to follow little book
This book explains in clear and concise terms the game of bridge. In addition it presents a whole set of drawings and diagrams to help with the learning and the understanding of the game. An excellent reference to have in one's library and in one's hands when starting to play the game.
