Nope. There are no differences between the hasbro or the takara version of this figure.

Since orion pax is essentially a deluxe figure, does he combine with other power of the primes/combiner wars figures?

According to the Hasbro website, it does not specify whether Orion Pax is compatible with previous Combiner Wars/Power of the Primes voyager class combiners. We have not opened one to attempt this suggestion however after looking at the pictures it is my opinion that this Orion Pax will not combine with the others. If we do open one in the future, we will be sure to update this post. Thank you for your question.
