Pizza Peel 16 Inch, Natural Bamboo Pizza Board for Transferring & Serving

Good quality wood. There’s definitely some texture to it, so it’s not over finished (meaning I don’t expect any clear coat to shred off from use). I haven’t had any staining or warping, and I use this both to launch pizza and to cut it afterwards. It’s easy to clean. And it’s hefty, so even if I’m not using it to launch, I’ll take it outside to my propane pizza oven and use this to stretch pizzas on before launching them with a metal peel. This is a massive 16” peel, and it’s worth every penny. Launches flawlessly, and is durable enough to cut on without taking damage. Obviously too thick to retrieve with, but if your crust is cooked right, a metal spatula can drag a pizza right onto this no problem.

This is the perfect pizza peel for somebody just getting into it. The handles just the right size where it works for most any person. it's not too heavy. The bamboo is nice looking. And was just a little bit of semolina flour pizza dough does not stick to it. Easy to launch the pizza.

This LX LERMX pizza peel is a fantastic kitchen companion! The bamboo construction is beautiful and feels sturdy in my hand. Plus, it's nice knowing I'm using an eco-friendly material. The size is perfect for maneuvering pizzas into a hot oven. The wide paddle makes a great cutting board for slicing afterwards. It's a real space saver! I especially love the versatility of this tool. I've used it for everything from transferring homemade bread to serving cheese and crackers. It's become a go-to for casual get-togethers. Here's a heads up for new pizzaiolos: be mindful of the heat in your oven. Launching the pizza can be a little tricky because the bamboo material can char if left in the hot zone for too long. I found I needed to develop a bit of a two-peel technique - using a separate peel to slide the pizza out after using this one to launch. Once I got the hang of it, it wasn't a problem, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall, this is a great pizza peel, especially for the price. It's multifunctional, well-made, and looks great. Just be prepared to potentially use a second peel for retrieve the pizza from the oven.

Does exactly what I want it to. I wanted a 16'' and this works. Quality seems decent.

My old peel was soft wood. It stained very easily and showed signs of wear (I cut my pizza while is on the peel). Bamboo is much harder. Front lip easy to slide pizza in / out of oven.

Here’s my experience using this peel for the first time today with three different pies: The good news is I was able to successfully launch all three pizzas onto my pizza steel in my 550 degree oven easily with just a little semolina flour smoothing the way. It’s a great size. The bad news is after our guests left, I gently washed this bamboo peel, and when I started to dry it off, the dish towel got snagged on a piece of the peel’s side and took off a small section. See the attached photos. I’m probably going to sand that area so it is less susceptible to this type of issue going forward rather than return it for another one. I expected better quality for the price.

This bamboo Pizza still works very well. I have used the aluminum peel, which really gave me issues with the pie sticking to the peel. This one was a game changer!
