Sea Otters (National Geographic Kids Readers, Level 1)

Granddaughter loves otters so this little book was a hit for first grader. She learned facts about them in a fun way with great pictures. She has enjoyed the easy to read text along with pictures, and all that adds up to building confidence as a reader.

Cute educational otter book for a level one reader. ( kids that are beginning to read on their own.) lots of bright pictures and fun educational facts. Ideal for kids who want to learn a little more about otters.

I learned things I didnt know about Sea Otters when reading this book to my grand children. Very informative! Great pictures! Worth the read! I appreciate the price point and plan to get several more about animals we want to learn more about.

I bought this for my grandchild’s birthday. She is in love with otters and was thrilled to get this book which helped prepare her for an otter visit. Great way to spend time with an elementary child learning how to read. Definitely recommend.

A surprising amount of factual material, even entertaining for adults and quite educational for children who are learning to read and are interested in the world around them. Treats otters, not as just cute sea mammals who seem playful, but explains why they need to learn sills via what seems to be play to us to survive in their ocean habitat. Great pictures and some information which will show children and the adults reading this to them that otters are, not just cute, but important to our ecosystem and how intelligent life exists on earth, besides just we humans. The ability of otters to use tools alone is fascinating. A nice little boo for otter and animal lovers of all ages.
