Polypropylene Black Mamba Boomerang - for Ages Above 13 Years Old!

It worked! The instruction guide certainly helped. It’s my first boomerang so not sure how best to rate it. My youngest two can’t get it to come back but the rest of us could. They’re seven. Still enjoyed playing with it. We tried it in our back yard and lost it on the first try in a neighbors yard) so I definitely recommend going to an open field (as the book also suggests) we didn’t realize how much it would arc.

This is a great boomerang. I bought it as a gift for my 10 year old nephew. He doesn't quite have the arm to get it to come back to him but I could and had a great time showing him. The boomerang is made of a durable material which is a plus over the traditional wooden boomerangs. I have had a few boomerangs break on me. The colors are pretty cool, but there were signs of paint chipping after a few days of throwing. Regardless, I would buy another one and would recommend this boomerang for any novices looking to get into it.

Just the right balance of ease and difficulty for intermediate to advanced throwers. Is challenging but fun and gives me a great workout. My only gripe is how they're shipped - they often arrive bent out of shape. I'd happily pay a buck or two more if the packaging prevented that.

The first time my son threw it up in our cut-de-sac it landed on the street and a little of the paint came off the tip. The second time or third time it started to chip on the middle tip. He had success in catching it several times, but if he didn't and it landed on the street more plastic chipped off. Through it's harder to go to the park or school to throw it he now wants to wait for grass under him to continue.

Excellent boomerang. Purchased for my 17 yos, he was having it return to him within an hour of practice. The slightest breeze would send it off course but with small adjustments in the throw he was able to have it return quite consistently. A side note: The speed in which this thing returns discouraged him from ever catching it with his hands so he let it dive into the ground at his feet. After hitting the ground many many times, the boomerang sustained no damage at all. Very please with this purchase.

VERY STURDY doesnt break like wood or floppy rubber/foam ones. When a grown man throws it it goes VERY VERY far and you need to be in a very big open field. But I noticed my teenage brother had trouble spin-flicking it but he still got it to float quite a bit and loop. But when I throw it I flick the hell out of it and that thing flies so far. Its hard to get it to come back in powerful wind but I got it to land 9 footsteps away on the first day with pretty powerful wind.

Cool little thing and goes suprisingly far. Just make sure you have a radius of 20 yards or more around you

Even when thrown using proper wrist and body mechanics this boomerang will rarely return. Poor design. I don't recommend this.
