Fits Bosch PSM 200 AES sander
This adapter fits the Bosch PSM 200 AES sander perfectly, Bosch should have included it as standard.

Works for adapting to Festool extractor
This adapter allows me to plug my Festool CTL MIDI I into the Bosch PSM 18 LI sander. I tried three different adapters before finding this one that works. Should work for all Bosch sanders and Festool extractors. Overpriced for what it is, but it does the job nicely. Slightly rubbery so has a little bit of flex, for a snug fit.

What's it supposed to fit?
Bosch is not my first choice of tools, but Bosch themselves assured me that my existing Bosch dust extraction connector would fit their new machine. Of course it doesn't! I bought this from Amazon as a heavily discounted returned item and so I am happy with what I had to pay, but full price it is a rip-off. The adaptor is good quality and a very tight fit onto the sander. Further to that I am not at all sure what the vacuum side of the adaptor is supposed to fit - certainly no Numatic type vacuum - probably some overpriced Bosch system. I made my own adaptor (a hardwood tapered plug) to fit between the Bosch adaptor and my Numatic connector, which I imagine any pretty competent maker could do. You would need a fair bit of kit, or a lot of gaffa tape! The extraction makes a huge difference and I would very much recommend connecting extraction. So the real question is why Bosch do not make an extractor port that fits typical DIY vacuums? That would be too easy. UPDATE: 2 months in the rubber boot has split that attaches to the sander - so it falls off all the time!

This adapter works well, but I expected the last one to last a bit longer. It ended up splitting, even on a Bosch power tool, so it only gets 4 stars. Maybe this one will last longer

Ik heb een hele gewone AEG stofzuiger. Dat lijkt mij een van de meest voorkomende modellen die je als niet-professionele doe het zelver wilt kunnen aansluiten. Helaas verkoopt Bosch alleen deze adapter, die alleen op hun eigen professionele stofzuigers past. Verwacht Bosch dat ik dan ook hun stofzuiger ga kopen alleen om af en toe een stukje hout te zagen?? Ik moest er nog 3 adapters tussenzetten met een stuk duct tape tot het enigszins paste. Maar ja, toch ben ik er blij mee want zonder deze adapter had ik helemaal geen afzuiging. Het helpt enorm met het verminderen van stof.

Update: Das erste Gerät an dem dieser Adapter nicht passt ist der Makita DBO180 Exzenterschleifer. Die Aufnahme zur Absaugung ist zu dünn und es wird ein weiterer Adapter zur Reduzierung benötigt. Ich habe einen Fliehkraftabscheider, auch als Zyklon bekannt, für meine Werkstatt gebaut. Der lästige Dreck beim Sägen und Fräsen hat mich massiv gestört. Da ich verschiedene Maschinen von Bosch Grün, Bosch Professional, Makita, etc. habe stellt sich meist das Problem, dass diese alle einen anderen Anschluss für die Absaugung haben. Als Schlauch vom Zyklon habe ich den 3 Meter Schlauch von Einhell mit 4 Adaptern geordert: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B007C1SB2E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Einer der Adapter passt perfekt in diesen Bosch-Adapter. Ich habe nun also folgendes Setup: Schlauch vom Zyklon --> aufgeschraubt auf Einhell-Adapter --> verbunden mit Bosch-Adapter. Das Ganze hält wackelfrei, sitzt fest und ist dicht. Gespannt war ich nun auf den Anschluss an die Maschinen. Und ich war wirklich überrascht. Der Bosch-Adapter passt perfekt an meine Bosch Professional GCM 8 SJL (Paneelsäge), die Bosch POF 1200 AE (Oberfräse) und die Makita DJV181 (Stichsäge). Auch an der Einhell Paneelsäge meines Vaters sitzt der Adapter sehr gut. Es ist zwar kein Click-and-Clean Adapter wie Bosch ihn für seine blaue Serie anpreist, hält aber einwandfrei und macht seine Arbeit. Das Ganze dabei deutlich günstiger. Für 5 Euro einer meiner besten Käufe der letzten Zeit. Von meiner Seite darum eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
