I run 5-9 miles thrice per week, in running seasons and, this year, because of the mild winter, almost all year round. Of the three, the Zig Squared Rush was closest to the ideal running shoe. The trouble with all three, notably the Rush, is that they rip and wear out in under a year. This isn't the soles, which are fine, but the attachment of the upper to the sole. Although the present shoe, the Zigtech Squared 2.0 is perfectly comfortable, it feels slightly heavier and more awkward than the Rush did. It also seems more cheaply made.I don't know why Reebok does this changeup of shoes which are perfectly fine. I may look to see if there is a comparable Adidas next time around.The remark about wearing a couple of hours is true, but should be qualified in that I have a bunion in the joint of my left big toe, and no shoes are comfortable to wear for long periods.UPDATE 31 August 2016So, the previous model of the Zig line finally gave way. I was wearing them and bought the Zigtech in anticipation of having to make the switch, and I have been running in the Zigtech since mid-July. And, don't you know, the Zigtechs are BEGINNING TO DETERIORATE IMMEDIATELY, wearing out on both shoes on the inside sides, about halfway to the arches.UNHAPPY. These are expensive shoes, and I guess people doing running expect shoes to be short-lived, but REALLY?? I did not rate them a single star because, well, they have SOME life in them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the arch support and barrier between my feet and the pavement are amazing!
