I bought this pillow while pregnant because I was struggling with neck pain and finding a comfortable sleeping position. Regular pillows just weren’t giving me enough support. This one actually made a noticeable difference. The shape keeps my neck supported whether I’m sleeping on my side (which is basically the only position that works during pregnancy) or slightly on my back while resting. I wake up with much less tension in my neck and shoulders. The pillow is firm enough to hold its shape but still comfortable, and the cooling fabric is nice since pregnancy makes you run warmer at night. It did take a couple nights to get used to the contour shape, but now I really like it. Overall, really happy with this purchase and I’m glad I found it.

Great for neck

I received the pillow very quickly and have tried to sleep on it every night since receiving it. Sadly, it is just too uncomfortable, and I don't know what will happen to it. The quality is fine, but it is like sleeping on a rock, and my headaches and cervical pain cannot tolerate it. Best of luck to anyone else who tries it though. Everyone is different.

First, I'd like to start with the fact that I have herniated discs in my cervical (all but two) and lumbar spine, so proper neck support is very important to me. This pillow has a concave center where your neck rests, with a slight elevation in the middle that helps keep everything aligned. It provides excellent support for both my neck and shoulders. The sides are shaped perfectly so if you’re lying on your stomach or side, your arms can comfortably drape over them. It’s very comfortable overall, and a standard pillowcase fits it perfectly. Even with a pillowcase on, you can easily tell which end is which because of the concave design and the slight bulge on the opposite end. This pillow is supportive while cushioning your head and neck. It feels better than tradional memory foam which usually makes my pain worse. It truly cradles your head and neck no matter which way you lay. It has a zipper for easy cleaning, which is a big plus. The insert care instructions states to wash the cover only and let it air dry. It comes rolled up in a bag, but it quickly conforms back to its original shape once opened. For anyone needing better cervical support, this has been a comfortable and supportive option. I've had less headaches and a major decrease in the numbness and radiating pain down my arms since using this pillow. I am a woman in my 40s with Autism, thyroid problems, and autoimmune diseases: this pillow did not cause sensory sensitivities to act up, it kept me cool and did not hold heat, and it kept me comfortable throughout the whole night, every night. Overall, I am highly impressed because I honestly did not expect any help in my pain, though the hope was high, from the use of this pillow. This pillow far exceeds the value, making it beyond worth it. I can not express how much relief I've had since sleeping with this. I recommend this pillow whether you have spine issues or not. This pillow is perfect for back, side, and stomach sleepers alike.

I received my memory foam cervical neck pillow by the piluxx brand in the color grey and white and I've been using it now for about two weeks. This pillow is designed for back and side sleepers. I'm 100% a back sleeper now because of multiple stomach surgeries. I can't sleep on my stomach or even my sides so I thought this would be an excellent solution to me constantly fiddling around with my regular bed pillow to get comfortable. The outer shell of the pillow is removable for washing, but I still prefer to use a pillowcase with my pillows. I’ve measured the footprint of the pillow and asked my sister to design a couple of pillow cases using a flat sheet that will work with this type of pillow and keep the pillow securely inside. I tried using it with a regular pillowcase but it doesn’t stay in the case throughout the night and the case becomes twisted. Using this pillow has helped me to wake up more refreshed because I’m not constantly trying to find a good spot for my head as I would with my regular pillow. I wish I tried this pillow before investing in several other types of pillows. During the last year alone, I’ve purchased down pillows, alternative down pillows, firm pillows and soft fluffy pillows, but I still had the same problem with trying to find that perfect spot in the pillow that would allow my head to rest comfortably while also supporting my neck and shoulders. Finally, this is the ONE! I just wish the pillow came with a different fabric for the outer shell, so this is my reason for the star deduction. It feels rough against my skin and it’s also the type of textured polyester that snags on dry skin and fingernails. Perhaps it’s just me, but I don’t like sleeping on a pillow without a 100% cotton pillowcase that I can change twice a week so I’m looking forward to the ones my sister is custom making for me. If you’ve been struggling to achieve a restful night’s sleep and have tried other pillows, as strange as this pillow looks, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s well worth it to wake up feeling rested and refreshed!
