My Panasonic trimmer was an excellent value new, but just wasn't cutting the way it did. A quick search landed me here and it's like I have a brand new trimmer for a fraction of the price. Panasonic was never known for flashy design but their products always have a solid functionality about them and have represented good value. Same goes with this trimmer/blade setup. Don't throw that razor away! Buy new blades! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ New blades brought life to my old shaver *by G***L on November 23, 2012* I really wish I could find another of these shavers, they're the Panasonic ER 389, which has the plug-in in the shaver and extends when needed. Brilliant design. All newer models of all manufactures have bases and cords - all paraphernalia crap. How do you pack that?Anyway, I figured I would open the old one up and replace the AA rechargeable battery which an article said you could do, but when I first inserted these new blades, the shaver seemed to have more power. The older blades obviously created resistance. I'm using and still haven't replaced the battery.
