The most important thing to me is keeping my sponges clean and free from bacterial growth. Bacteria flourish in warm wet places. The Scarlettewares sponge holders let your sponges dry out completely which kills any germs that might keep growing otherwise. I have a slot for every sponge: one for dishes, one for counters, my nylon Dobie scrubby, and one for my hubby’s sponge (he likes to keep his super soapy). I couldn’t live without these!!! A must have if you want to avoid disease caused by bacterial growth.
