There are lots of meanings, nuances, phrasal verbs, expressions, and idioms, formal and informal, as well as all versions of English: British, American, Canadian, and Australian. There are no grammar rules, no phonetic guide, no irregular verbs given separately as a list at the beginning or at the end of the book. No pronunciation near each word, only for some foreign words (like signora). Irregular verbs have all forms given near each word. Irregular plural forms for nouns (like wolf - wolves) are also given. I am satisfied with the dictionary; it allows me to dive into the nuances of the complex written language, while it doesn't require much space and doesn't weigh a ton.
