Kam Wah Mooncake - Lotus Seed (0 Yolk)

i ordered the Lotus seed paste with no yolk (i plan on trying the ones with yolk next time i order btw) and it was so fantastic. i've wanted to try these since i was a little kid first seeing them in the disney movie wendy woo homecoming warrior. they are dense but in the best way because it fills you up so much that you can really only eat one (at least for me lol) but it makes you appreciate it more. they’re also very pretty to look at and fresh tasting!! the lotus paste mooncake in particular is great because it’s not to salty and not to sweet, a very nice medium!! and i love the packaging that it came in and the paper on top that explains the festival and tradition of the mooncakes-i think it’s really cool. i can’t wait to try more!!!!

It never disappoints. It’s quality has been consistent all these years.

Delicious Mooncake for vegan people like my daughter . Only one complaint was it’s much more expensive than the one that has the egg yolk in, selling at the Costco.

Like the texture and taste

Honestly, if I weren't used to higher-quality products, I would probably be perfectly satisfied with this. And compared to other options available on Amazon, it is relatively economical. And really not bad. But also not quite at the level of some of the premium brands. Most striking is the occasional crunchy bit within the lotus paste filling, which I have never encountered before. But, better than nothing if you are on a budget.

I bought for myself and for gift , we all love these mooncakes , paste was good and pastry was very light and and not too thick . I highly recommend others to buy this brand and I would definitely buy it again if price is lowered .
