Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Spark Shark Kickboard - Learn-to-Swim Pool Toy

My son loved the design of this kickboard and now we can't go to the pool without it. It works and I like the fabric covering the Styrofoam. It dries fast and has held up well after being thrown, hit and dragged to and from the pool.

This swim kickboard was not only a huge hit with my 4-year-old grandson, but it moved him further in his confidence in the pool. I didn't expect that it would turn out to be such a valuable part of his readiness for swim lessons.

Yes, it's basically fabric covered styrofoam, but what do you expect as this price point? It's well-made for what it is. The styrofoam is thick and sturdy, fabric is brightly colored, tightly sewn with nice quality stitching, shark features are perfectly lined up. Other boards are double the price and this was a new concept for my small 7 year old so I wasn't even sure how much use it would get. Turns out she loves it and so do I. We both use and enjoy it, and have found from recent experiences that it also works well as a splash-blocker/ face shield and keeps ur head dry in a rainstorm. We bring it to our community pool and its in the rotation with the pool noodles, balls and a few other inflatable toys EXCEPT I don't have to worry about this getting a hole and deflating. No handles, but that's obvious from the pictures. I will order the purple dolphin too one when it's back. For under seven bucks, it's definitely worth it!

Had him kicking away in the lazy river with this!Kiddo loved the shape & design of this kickboard/floatie & couldn't wait to get in the water to try it out. It's fun what can get a kid to try something that they might not have before. The shark did it for him & got to kicking & loved it.Worked as it should, cloth covered styro I believe, cloth dries super fast & held up being tossed & dragged about at the water park all summer. Fit into our beach bag easy enough & I think no one dared steal it when we left it laying about due to the fierce shark design!Two thumbs up!

Í am happy I purchased this swimmig board for my 4 years old kid who I am teaching how to swing and diving.He is very hipper and distract by any thing so it is hard for any one having him concentrate in lessons. I learn how to swing when I was 3 so I love be in the water and I know how important is the Boards to hold kids in their way to lean and feel confidence.I purchased at the same time another board with spiderman picture, but didn't realize the width was smaller than the shark I am writing the review; this shark have the eyes more open than the regular board and that give my son more stability and track to put his hands. No matter I have the one with spiderman and shark together at the pool he choose this one because he grave it from the eyes and push his body to the water to start to kick.Maybe because he is only 4 he need this board instead of the almost rectangular standard, I am not a professional but I can tell you for my experience if I only have the standard board he will not use it this summer.

The good news... It quickly improved the skills, technique and confidence of my 3-year old swimmer. The bad news... It snapped in half within 2 weeks of using it (my 9-yr old thought it'd be fun to jump onto it from the edge of the pool). And the seams are coming apart along the edges. I don't expect it to last much longer than a month or two. I'll buy a higher quality one next time.

My five year old loves this. It was a little smaller than I anticipated but I didn't read the dimensions... my bad. Still a good kick board for any child under five.

Si tú Bebé acude a clase de natación o la qieore para juego es perfecta. Buena calidad, diseño.El problema es que a mí hijo de 8 años no le sirvió ya que las maestras la requerían con orificios para practicar los diferentes niveles con la tabla.
