Easy Immune Support That Cats Actually Eat
These chews have become a staple in my cat’s daily routine. Packed with lysine and DMG, they help support immune health, especially for cats prone to sneezing or watery eyes. I’ve seen noticeable improvements in less than a week — more energy, fewer symptoms, and an overall healthier vibe. The best part? My cat actually eats them like treats. No hiding pills, no mess. They’re soft, easy to chew, and small enough for even picky eaters. I’ve used them during seasonal changes, stressful events, and even just as daily maintenance. Pros: Supports immune system and respiratory health Cats love the taste — easy to give Soft texture, no crumbling or powder mess Effective for both kittens and adult cats No artificial colors or preservatives Cons: Needs consistent use for best results Some cats may be suspicious at first (but most warm up quickly) Bottom Line: This is one of the few supplements that actually works and doesn’t feel like a battle to give. If your cat deals with eye discharge, sneezing, or just needs an immune boost, this is a game changer.

Using For Part Of a Feline Herpes Virus Control Regimen
I purchased this and a list of other items because we took in a kitten that had Feline Herpes Virus and was constantly sick. He was getting our other 3 cats sick as well. The list I purchased was: 1) Tomlyn Scientifics L-Lysine Health Supplement Powder for Cats, 100gm 2) #1 Probiotics for Cats - Cuts Litterbox Smell - Stops Diarrhea, Guaranteed - 4X Servings, 50X CFUs 3) Vetri-Lysine Plus For Cats, 120 Bite-Sized Soft Chews - 5.29 oz 4) FELINE GREENIES SMARTBITES Healthy Skin and Fur Treats for Cats Salmon Flavor - 2.1 oz. ** I only give the supplements in the evening when I feed them the mushy cat food. I give these to all of my cats as they share and fight over the mushy food. So far the kitten has been improving. Before taking this he was sometimes lathargic and hot feeling like he had a temp. Also he had lots of yellow stuff coming out of his nostrils and eyes. I've been giving this to them for over a month now and he only has harder eye buggers, a little red around the eyes and he still sneezes. I have not seen any more of the severe yellow discharge from nose or eyes. As for # 3 on my list, I gave that 4 out of 5 stars because only two of my cats will eat them and the kitten isn't one of them. The one thing I must say from using the 4 supplements that I purchased, it seems like it gives the cats a burst of energy or something. The kitten normally tears around the house soon after eating the mushy food with these added into it. It also seems to help my 12 year old cat. She seems more active and not as crabby.

These worked for my cat!!
He started sneezing periodically for 2 days, and I noticed one if his eyes was watery and a little red, he was tearing from that eye (clear tears). On the third day he started squinting and rubbing it. I read the reviews for these chews and figured I'd give it a try before taking him to the vet (which I am SO thankful I did). After ONE day he started sneezing less, on the second day he probably only sneezed once or twice and his eye was starting to look better. By the third day he was back to his playful ways, terrorising his sister (they love each other, really). I followed the directions on how many to give them a day, and will purchase again if the symptoms flare-up.

helping with my kitten's eye herpes
I have five cats and at least three of them have eye herpes. One of them is a 10.5-month-old rescued kitten I got last month. I am fairly certain he had eye herpes before I brought him home, but at any rate, there is a bit of kitty stress in my household right now as he integrates himself, so one of my other eye herpes cats may have been shedding the virus and infected him. Thankfully, he does not have ulcers, but he has clear eye discharge and sometimes sneezes. So I asked my vet about lysine options. Please note: this has chicken-based flavoring in it so it will not work for cats with chicken allergies and/or inflammatory bowel disease. (If you have a cat like that, your best bet is buying lysine tablets for humans and crushing them, then suspending them in liquid, drawing up in a syringe, and administering that way. Human lysine tablets are a bit too big for a cat to swallow.) If your cat is able to have most treats and such, these chews are a far better (as in, more pleasant for the cat and easier to administer) option. Anyway, the herpes virus requires a lot of the amino acid arginine (which has a long carbon side chain and a positively-charged nitrogen-containing group on the end) for replication. Giving lysine (which also has a long carbon side chain and a different positively-charged nitrogen-containing group on the end) in large amounts means lysine is taken up more by the cell machinery producing viral proteins. Only, when lysine is incorporated into viral proteins in place of arginine, the proteins don't fold properly and don't function as well (or at all). (This is true for human herpesviruses as well, so if you tend to get cold sores, take lysine tablets. It is an amino acid that you would need anyway. Just follow dosing instructions on the bottle.) So, in order to get my kitten's eye herpes under control before he starts scratching at his eyes or something, I am giving him this. He's been on it for a few days and it seems to be helping. He has less eye discharge and I haven't heard the sneezing for awhile. He's also not scratching at his eyes. He's still skittish so I just throw a treat or two on the floor in the morning before feeding him. I do this when he's hungry so I know he will eat these. He likes them and doesn't have much trouble chewing/eating them. (They're what I would call "semi-moist." They don't have a strong smell.) These are not causing my kitten any digestive upsets, which of course I'm very happy about. The bag is resealable to preserve freshness. If your cat is walking around with one eye closed or you see the third eyelid covering a large portion of the eye, there is probably an ulcer. You will need to take your cat to the vet and get a fluorescein stain and some antibiotic drops or ointment. This product will not cure ulcers. (I've seen the extremes of cat eyes damaged by eye herpes and you do not want to go there. It is expensive and requires many trips to the veterinary ophthalmologist.) Ulcers must be treated quickly and appropriately. But if your cat just has some discharge and sneezing and you have reason to believe s/he has eye herpes, these treats can help. Anyway, I'm very happy that these are working. Nice to know I can get them from Amazon if my cats have issues in the future.

Works better than expected
My cat has a short snout and was full of mucus, and was sneezing it out, it was gross. I starting using this about a year ago and she hasn't had an issue since, it works great! I crush one up in her food daily, she loves it.

Product is old and dried out. Low quality
I purchased these in 2025 and all three packages were dated to expire 1 month from date of purchase. You could clearly tell they were old , dry and hard. I purchased from chewy and they are fresh and soft. Chewy has much higher quality. Be aware they are not RETURNABLE.

My cats love these
I have had my cats on these for years now, I’ve lost count of the amount of packages that I’ve purchased. This is the only brand that I will buy because it’s the only brand that my cats will eat. I have to cut them in thirds for my cats or they are too tough to chew and they won’t touch them. I cut the tail off and then the main part in half, perfect size for them. Once I do that they get excited for their treats. I got one of my cats when she was 10 weeks old and noticed that she was sick right away. The vet explained that she had a cold caused by the feline herpes virus. She’s twelve now and if she doesn’t get the chews then she’ll have a cold within days. A couple of years later, I adopted a two and a half year old male cat that also has feline herpes. Without these chews his eyes get junky and he gets the cold symptoms just as quickly. They both know when it’s treat time and will sit in front of the counter and meow until I look at the clock. I recommend these to anyone that has a cat with feline herpes. If your cats won’t eat them, try cutting them in half, it might help; did with mine.
