Max Factory Konosuba: Megumin Figma Action Figure

I’m a bit late to the party, so I’m a victim of price gouging. After this buy, my wallet looked about like Megumin after she casts her “Explosion” spell... all out of mana (money) and collapsed on the ground. It was worth it though. I know some people had some QC issues with this Figma, I lucked out and got a great one with no issues. The only thing that is a minor inconvenience is that her hat doesnt stay on her head very well. They could have also given us a higher quality “Explosion” spell other than the little clip on paper one... would a plastic “Explosion” spell really have been too much to ask for? It’s still an amazing Figma. It’s a bit pricey now, but I guess I shouldn’t have waited so long. Hopefully they do a re-run and she becomes affordable again.

10/10 exactly what I expected

The product is extremely well detailed. There are only a few shortcomings. I felt there were a lack of facial expressions. I think one more additional face swap would have been a nice addition. The second was the Explosion spell plastic ring that you can attach to the end of her staff. It felt very cheap, while for other figma figures I’ve been given a plastic mold of their spells rather than a hard plastic paper. The last was her hat which was difficult to keep on when trying to arrange the figure in whatever specific stance you may want her in. However, it is still an outstandingly detailed figure despite those shortcomings. For Figma, it’s a figure that you should purchase when it’s under the 75$ish dollar range. It is worth noting that I found another figure that came with additional facial expression for a ludicrous price.

This item I bought this as a gift and I was surprised at the quality. The quality was excellent. My son was so happy with the gift. Excellent quality the paint was done very well. No errors on the painting or design. I really was happy with the price because I have seen these sold in stores for so much more. It came packed well with care and shipping was quick. Very happy with my order.

Overall I just like megumin as a character so I am glad to have her. No problems with the distributor, but problems with goodsmile as this is one of their worst figma in terms of posing and quality. Very difficult to pose, problems with the hands as the wrist joint is extremely tight and at wrong angle. The staff and the plug connecting the cape broke almost immediately. This is a genuine figma but just highlights the issues of quality when goodsmile created it. Overall I am happy to own this.

I'm questioning the authenticity of this product. I've owned plenty of figma and none have been as defective as this product. The primary face doesn't stay on, and neither does the primary hair. The staff broke when trying to change the pieces. The piece to keep the hat in place was bent beyond repair so I couldn't put it on. Finally the extra hand pieces either didn't clip on correctly or didn't clip on at all. Thus this left me limited to the hands the came pre attached, the eye patch hair and the angry/shy face and nothing else. Which just left me incredibly disappointed.

as others have pointed out, the staff is really fragile, and will most likely break if not extremely careful (luckily it can easily be fixed with super glue). And the explosion effect is uncomfortably heavy for such a fragile piece, though it seems to hold up without breaking. The hat is also annoying but not as big an issue as people make it out to be, if you just press on the bangs tightly (you might have to strengthen the connection there with super glue) and insert the little plastic tip between the bangs and the rest of the hair, and it should work just fine. The cape is a bit chunky, and attached at a weird angle (to take off the cape, push up the figures arms and pull the cape diagonally down, that way you wont stress the peg) The accessories are hit and miss too, all the hands are nice, and so are the alternate faces, but the eye patch hair piece and eye shine both fit poorly, but look ok if you tilt the figure's head down. As mentioned earlier, the explosion effect is heavy and I'm concerned it could damage the staff if left on for too long, and the hand joints aren't strong enough to hold up the staff with the explosion effect on, but it still works if you use both hands. The little Chomusuke is very nice, and even has head rotation, very cute. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, as the figure looks very nice, and the issues aren't as bad as people make them out to be, but it is still very overpriced, don't get this figure unless you desperately want a poseable Megumin figure.

Zufällig endeckt und fand die Magierin interessant , vorsichtig das ganze zubehör ausgepackt & in die Plastiktüte getan Zubehör Test , Hände tausch war etwas schwer , der Zauberstab ist leicht kompliziert aber die Beschreibung + verpackung (Rückseite mit Bilder) hilft Es ist auch etwas Arbeit den Hut gut am Kopf zu platzieren und leider haltet er schlecht Robust und gut verarbeitet Fertiges Ergebnis und das die Magierin auf ihren Beinen auch ohne Halterung mit Ständer steht ist dann echt gut
