Having recently tried out a set of outdoor shooting rest bags, I've found a reliable companion that truly enhances my shooting experience. Great price. Great product. I filled it with sand and it does what it's supposed to do.

Works as expected. A little difficult to fill but with patience it went fine. One stitch appeared loose but did not leak.

These bags are well constructed with a nice large filling tube with a velcro closure and it tucks away under a nice wide strap to hold it flat. They come unfilled and I wanted something that would have some weight to it yet be a smooth, non-organic and easy to shape when firing. After looking at the expensive filling materials on Amazon, I opted for hobby lobby, Marigold market plastic pellets they come in 1 lb bags are $3.99 and they are just the right fill material. The small (rear) bag took less than a 1 lb bag of plastic pellets. I put three pounds in the front rest bag but probably will put one more in it. I am looking forward to going out on the range and using these bags. The rear bag is quite unique in that it is wedge-shaped which will give you some more options for raising and lowering the bag and with these plastic pellets the squeezing technique should work quite well with it.

Ok… There are just a few things you need to know before you purchase this item. I’ll give my full review following my bullet points. 1. The bags come empty. You must purchase your own filler. 2. Filling the smaller bag can be difficult depending on your choice of bead/bean/sand. 3. The bags are made of quality material. 4. It would be great if you could move the provided D clips to another part of the bag. They are not removable. Now for my review… I knew something was wrong when I received the package in the mail. The envelope it came in was very small and flat. To my disappointment, the bags were not prefilled. If you look closely in the items description, you can find where the seller says this. However, it is not in the bold, flashing red neon print that it should be. I read through multiple reviews and found someone that said they used aquarium gravel as filler. This is a logical choice being that substance is not organic and won’t rot like soy beans and unlike sand, is designed to be wet if they ever come into contact with water. The smaller of the two bags was difficult to fill. Despite the aquarium gravel being quite small, I still had to force them into the “legs” of the bag . This portion of the item is not completely open. Instead, there is a small hole on either side found on the inner portion of the main compartment. If you are using larger filler or filler that clumps together when pouring, you will probably have a similar result. The bags are made of what appears to be quality material. I have no real concerns regarding craftsmanship or quality control. I have already dropped them (accidentally) from a height greater than five feet and they did not shows signs of rupturing. There are two D clips that are attached to the larger of the two bags. It would be great if you could move them to another side of the bag. Unfortunately, they are sewn in place via a cordura attachment cannot be removed. Overall, I probably got exactly what I paid for. The bags are functional and of recommendable quality. Just be prepared to spend a few extra bucks on filler. If you go with aquarium gravel, this can be cheaply done. Cheers.

Very sturdy and well made. Material is heavy duty and stitching is great. Easy to fill with dry sand, I made a temporary funnel out of a cereal box and duct tape, took 5-10 minutes to fill both. The velcro closures actually close all the way and keep the fill in. The only markdown is because the stitching on the base of the fill flap (on the larger one) started coming loose, sand started leaking out so I had to sew it up with some heavy duty thread. No big deal, I was being pretty rough with it when filling with dry sand.

Item was shipped quickly and arrived on time. Am very upset to say that the shooting rest bag dose not hold up to expectations. Only used it twice, fell off the bench at the range and tore wide open. Looked at the stitching the stitching was off by a lot. After checking it out, very poor quality of the item. I would not recommend it to anyone. If anything stick to a good name brand when it comes to doing anything with firearms shooting.

Product received the next day. Filled bags with rice. Looks good and sturdy. Other reviews indicate they received 2 sets of bags, ( 2 front and 2 rear bags), as in photos. I received only 1 set.

Works great just make sure the quality of sand used is fine.

Feels so cheap and scare to feel with sand. Also on the photo it supposed to be seamless stitching, not that bulky black overlaps. Not happy at all
