Product Description MANUEKLEAR Zero Drop Shoes Review: Very good gym shoes - It is excellent in traction compared with vans and converse. I don’t worry about slipping when do sumo squats. And the wide toe box is comfortable. Nice covering of feet. But the insoles’ shape, the great toe area, is not friendly of common orthopedic insoles. They use metal ring for last laces hole. If they use metal ring for all holes, it will be better. Considering the cheap price, it is a worthy choice for gym workout shoes, firm and flat. Furthermore, I wish they will design white color infuture Review: Decent lifting shoe.. but size runs large and heel need little more padding - I lift decent lifting weights and with my plantar fasciitis condition have been struggling a bit , so have tried switching top shoe brands / styles , added sole/arch supports and even tried working bare feet or with socks none worked 100%. Was advised to try zero drop shoe which us more minimalistic and gives you a bare feet feel while lifting. Well came across these from MANUEKLEAR. Besides claims of having almost all what I was looking for plus design had even a Wider Toe Box. They were known brand to me from prior exp. of using good quality products from them so ordered. Sizing : Runs Large. Please use MANUEKLEAR shoe sizing chart pretty accurate. I ordered my standard size but came some what off it was an inch left . its not really US standard shoe size. I wear a US 9.5M in all top sneaker brands and my feet size is slight over 10 inch but per their sizing chart it should have been 8.5. That was my oversight while ordering but sellers were super nice to help me out so an extra star for that. Quality and Finish : Shoe quality looks decent and pretty light weight with super flexible sole and basic finish (some what lackluster.) Reminds me of canvas shoes from good old school days. Well I was not looking for fancy sneaker for lifting anyways so thats fine. Experience : Putting them on was nt easy . Took some effort to to slide my feet in even after loosening shoe laces. I feel entry area is little tight as taking off was not easy either. Well once my feet was inside , it was very comfortable and wide toe box really allows free finger movement. Feet moved easy as its thin soft sole. Breathable material. Tried lifting few times already and enjoyed it for the most part. Design Observations - Heel area needs more padding. While I appreciate free flexible movement and breathability of feet due to thin sole and materials used , I felt pain in my heel under weight with in just few minutes. Also tongue feels super stiff as I wear ankle length socks. Thin sole I wont recommend for hiking. *******. In case MANUEKLEAR Team sees my review ******** Besides sizing should match US standard sizing , stiff tongue and wasnt very easy to put on / take off . While I am concerned that it could damage shoe but may be needs more break in time. I not sure of warranty , since MANUEKLEAR is a known trusted brand , will bank that you will back me up in case a problem arises. :-) For heel problem for now , added a heel sole insert that would address my issue for now but not ideal/ Its not a bad product by any means just need few improvements around fit , design and may be material to make them perfect zero drop bare feet shoe. For a price of 42.99 (at time of ordering) felt on a higher side looking at overall build quality & finish so really hoping performance would over-compensate for it. :-)

Look Stylish and Cool, But Are Thin and Too Flexible
These are thin shoes with a very flexible foot arch area. These remind me of jazz dance shoes that flex in the arch area. I was hoping these would be good gym shoes, but aside from maybe using them for deadlifts, these wouldn't be good for heavy squats, leg presses, or any type of running. They are not very comfortable and have almost no padding at all. When wearing them, it almost feels like the shoe is broken in half (once again, like jazz shoes). The sizing is also off, these run bigger/larger than expected. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of these shoes, although I do like other Manueklear items, but these shoes are not a hit for me. I do like the red color of them though and they look stylish, but as for functionality, they aren't that good.

Amazing product
Amazing shoes for dynamic exercises that combine strength and physical conditioning. They provide stability and pressure my stance when weightlifting and exercising

Not good
Terrible! Did not feel comfortable. The tongue is like cardboard. I don’t like them!

Great lifting and swimming shoes, needs more padding, needs 'heel tab' to help put shoes on
Item: MANUEKLEAR Zero Drop Wide Toe Box Shoe for Men Women, Minimalist Barefoot Shoes Men for Hiking, Lifting Shoes for Cross Training (10.5 Women/9 Men, Onyx Black) Pros: -Looks good. I've gotten a compliment from my mom and one of the neighbor kids. -They also double as water shoes! I swam with them in a pool, let them sit out overnight and they were dry the next morning and didn't smell. The weather was hot, but still Pretty impressive! -Have very good traction in general -They seem relatively durable. I have no problems with them on the leg press -Compared to other shoes, there is a lot of toe space. There is a lot of space for your toes. However, I feel like it doesn't give me much incentive to stretch them out. I got some pretty wide Hobbit feet -The laces are ok. They come untied every now and then but not very often. Cons: -Almost no shoe padding on the bottom. The first time I wore this shoe, the balls of my feet were hurting from walking on the gym floor. After that I've gotten used to it... -Kind of hard to slip on the shoes because there is no 'heel tab' to help you put on your shoe. So it definitely sucks putting these shoes on. Other Thoughts: -Not a con but worth mentioning. Sizing is kind of big. From the tip of my big toe to the end of the shoe, there is about a thumbs length of space remaining (see pics). Maybe you could go down half a size???? Not sure. -I like to be able to slip on my shoes with them already tied. Initially when doing this, I would hear the shoe rip, but I don't see anything thats ripped at all. So it must have ripped on the inside somewhere. But now that its ripped, it doesn't make the ripping sound when putting on the shoes this way. -How do you if know someone may be a veteran in the gym just by looking at them? Wearing MANUEKLEAR branded shoes is one of them. MANUEKLEAR is a weight lifting brand that makes gym equipment, that I think some gym rats will recognize.

Great for the Gym
When I first received these shoes, I was prepared to leave a bad review. The design was nothing special and, honestly, they looked like swim shoes with laces. They were also somewhat uncomfortable on my way to the gym, and I was prepared to cut my workout short due to foot pain. Well, that is NOT what happened! These shoes are great in the gym. I used them on the elliptical and while lifting weights, and they were very comfortable with great grip. I really don't know what makes these seemingly lackluster shoes so awesome for workouts, but I may never wear another pair to the gym. There is one important flaw, which is the only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars: The tongue is thin and stiff. At times, it felt uncomfortable rubbing against my skin. I'm a typical Gen Xer who only wears ankle socks with shorts, and even if you wore socks that cover your legs, I assume you might still feel the tongue. I don't know why they made it so long and stiff; it seems to be the only flaw in the design. It's possible it may soften over time. Nevertheless, that's the one thing I'd recommend changing. If it doesn't soften soon, I may actually cut it. But even with that one flaw, I highly recommend these shoes for the gym. Quick update: after wearing the shoes for over a week, I no longer feel the tongue. I don't know if the tongue softened or if I simply got use to it, either case, I can't feel it. I'm raising it to 5 stars and have no negatives. In fact, I now wear slides on my way to the gym to preserve to grip. These shoes have changed my experience in the gym. I will be a repeat customer.
