The wrist strap is a little less pronounced, which was nice during summer and to make them feel less bulky, and the grip felt very consistent at any level of wetness. My first pair had the rip in the palm (known early batch manufacturing defect) happen fairly early on, but it’s not affected anything with the actual usage of the gloves, and after contacting their support they were kind enough to send out an updated replacement pair (that I haven’t tried yet). Highly recommend the gloves, and we absolutely should be supporting companies who stand behind their products like this! Review: Replaced- Stress points - Update: received a replacement pair free of charge from Layout. Absolutely fantastic. 1st batch had a huge problem with tearing. These new ones are great and have no tears. I really like these gloves but with normal use they seem to have three stress points where they year between the thumb and index as well as either side of the middle finger in either glove. As opposed to the other reviews I didn’t need to layout for the tears to form. I’ve reached out to Layout who have a generous 90 day regular use return policy with a picture and proof of purchase to see if they have any feedback. I will say the gloves have a tad bit more grip compared to mint cutter v4s but they still work well for handling. Something about the middle finger on the glove feels off as it sometimes twists itself a bit too far which results in a larger surface area where the grip material is applied. If these were just a dud pair I’d say they definitely were a good value and worked really well. I’d be curious if they could make the Velcro wrist collar narrower. ## Features - πŒπŽπ‘π„ π’ππˆπ, πŒπŽπ‘π„ πƒπˆπ’π“π€ππ‚π„: Enhanced grip material increases disc RPM at release, which translates directly to longer, straighter drives off the tee and crisper throws under pressure in ultimate - 𝐀𝐋𝐋-𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑, 𝐀𝐋𝐋 πƒπˆπ’π‚ π’ππŽπ‘π“π’: Consistent grip in rain, sweat, cold, and heat β€” tested by elite players in real conditions for ultimate frisbee and disc golf, so you can focus on your game, not your gear! - 𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐀-π‹πˆπ†π‡π“, ππ”πˆπ‹π“ π“πŽ 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓: Lightweight construction means you barely notice you're wearing them β€” full hand sensitivity, no bulkiness, and enough durability for both tournament play and daily use on the course - π“π‡π”πŒπ π„π—ππ€ππ’πˆπŽπ π™πŽππ„: Stretchy thumb gusset provides a snug, personalized fit that expands naturally when you open your hand for catches β€” no more webbing, no more bunching - π’π„π€πŒπ‹π„π’π’ π…πŽπ‘π„π‡π€ππƒ π…πˆππ†π„π‘: No seam across the forehand release finger means your throws feel natural and unobstructed β€” a game-changer for ultimate handlers and disc golfers who live and die by their forehand - πŒπŽπ‘π„ π’ππˆπ 𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄: Enhanced fingertip grip loads more RPM into every throw β€” translating to longer, straighter disc golf drives and faster, more penetrating throws on the field ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DKVVTF6S | | Additional Features | Abrasion Resistant, Adjustable Strap, Lightweight, Slip Resistant | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #117,140 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #18 in Ultimate Disc Equipment | | Brand | Layout Ultimate | | Brand Name | Layout Ultimate | | Closure Type | Hook and Loop | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 29 Reviews | | Glove Type | Discgolf, Ultimate Frisbee | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | 1 Pair Gloves | | Item Weight | 55 g | | Manufacturer | Layout | | Material | Polyurethane | | Material Type | Polyurethane | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Size | Medium | | Sport | Disc Golf, Ultimate Frisbee | | Sport Type | Disc Golf, Ultimate Frisbee | | UPC | 628504744697 | | Warranty Description | 90 Days | ## Images ![Layout Elite Disc Sports Glove – Precision Grip for Disc Golf & Ultimate Frisbee | Seamless Forehand Finger | Ultra-Light All-Weather, High Grip and Friction - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61+WK3EwAIL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great gloves, and Layout will fix any issues *by K***S on January 14, 2026* I already enjoyed the standard layout gloves, and these were definitely a step up in quality and feel! I was having problems with getting blisters from throwing power shots, and these have helped resolve that issue. Gloves work as advertised and is the next best thing to playing bare handed. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/810346458-layout-elite-disc-sports-glove-precision-grip-for-disc-golf](https://www.desertcart.is/products/810346458-layout-elite-disc-sports-glove-precision-grip-for-disc-golf) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
